ThePancakeLady
Just some shots from ML, before I leave to head through the Ravine. Some are spectacular, and some are just "everyday" things. Some are nice surprises found when you finally bother to look around for a Prepper's Chache, just because you were in the neighborhood. First time in a long time I have even bothered to look for one, really shocked to find the one I did. And some are shots of reasons you decide to relocate your base, the day after setting up there, lol... 21 days in ML, time to move on.
ThePancakeLady
And I would really like to leave, and hit the Ravine. But... (This wolf paced outside and around the fence for 10 IRL minutes, growling and barking the whole time, charging the gate if I got near it.) Make Sure You Close The Gate...

My avatar is a picture of a dog chasing a ball underwater in a swimming pool. The resemblance is pretty amazing now that you've pointed it out. piddy3825
I got the Power!!! I started only being able to levitate small objects at first. I could only manage to hold up a single small stone. by the end of the day, I could levitate much larger and heavier objects like this Fir limb. Can't wait to try this out on a Timber Wolf...

ajb1978
Should you get trapped in the lower Cinder Hills Coal Mine after the aurora ends, as the day rolls on the cave is surprisingly well lit. Also, the water remains electrified even at high noon. On the bright side, you can use this light to saw down shelves without having to use lamp oil. At this rate, I think I massively overprepared for this expedition. I've already broken down all the shelves and crates down there, and I've got enough coffee and birch bark tea that I should be able to survive over two weeks without sleep if cabin fever hits.

Lol once the sun icon is fully above the horizon in that little time-of-day indicator, it goes from pitch black to sort of shades of blue. I think my survivor must be a half-drow or something. Incidentally I got an aurora 18 game-hours after taking that screen shot, and was able to escape the lower mine with all of the harvested reclaimed wood and scrap metal, and about 98% of the provisions I;d brought down there. Yeah...I overprepared. Word of advice to anyone that wants to try exploring the lower mines: There are two fire barrels down there, and a good amount of reclaimed wood to be scavenged. Save your coffee and birch bark tea for condition recovery in the event you aren't as lucky with your rescue aurora as I was and have to power through remaining conscious due to cabin fever. You can get drinking water from those fire barrels, and save your coffee/tea to recover condition lost due to exhaustion. That was my plan as well, but apparently RNGesus smiled at my preparedness and let me off the hook easy.
Ice Hole
I AM GOAT On my way up to the plane and noticed that the tremors have caused havoc on our beloved goat trails. The documented route is now blocked. Good thing my back up trail was not affected. Tonight Secluded Shelf still belongs to the goats.
piddy3825
When you overnight in the cannery workshop, you might as well make the best of it. Here's my version of a raised platform bed! I cured a deer hide up on the wall to create nice soft headboard and the floor is carpeted in cured hides which sure keeps the chill off the floor at bay. The bearskin bag is super comfy, I think it adds +10C when you use it.

ThePancakeLady
Making trips back and forth from Carter to CH, to move some things I want to take with me, stocking up the upper cave in the Ravine with other things, so they are there when I am ready to go down and head into BI. I always enjoy when I get a nice Aurora to greet me, so I don't need a lantern or flare to set up my bedroll in the Dam. Just a few shots, taking my time with things, going at a nice slow pace. Safe. No wolf waiting for me, thankfully. Like the Dam is not creepy enough during the day... But the map in the restroom looks great with the new lighting effects... And I really should get some crafting done, while I have no risk of Cabin Fever. Morning, and it's time to head back through the Ravine, and cross back to CH again. After dropping things off in the cave, and harvesting the deer there, finally. Okay. So I putzed around in the Ravine a bit. I won't cross the trestle at night. Tomorrow then...
