  1. I would love to re-see the photos of each region when choosing where to start your next adventure, just like this one from BI: Althought i still don't get it why they removed them...
  2. Events, something that could make long term interesting but also quite challenging sometimes (meaning both positive and negative events). For example: emigrations of wildlife, beachcombing crates, ''mother'' blizzard (like the one in whiteout), ecc... Y'know, kinda like the events system from Rimworld. But i think something like this could be really hard and time consuming.
  3. Yeah the ballistic vest is bad, but eventually some mods could make it somewhat useful. If ofc you'll install them.
  4. Damn, that's unfortunate. Well, while i was on PV, CH and BI i've never encountered anything like this, so maybe it's a bug exclusive to ML or the mod author fixed it.

  6. Oooh i recently had another strange yet quite terrifying experience. I was walking near the farmhouse at PV at night with the wind howling, dark as hell, had the lantern in the pack but i decided to stick with my revolver. At some point 2 wolfs started barking at me, slowly coming towards me. I was way too lazy to light up a lantern to see, relying to see the glowing eyes of the wolf to shoot him. Here's where the strange happens, one wolf started charging at me and i was looking around to see those damn glowing eyes, i couldn't see them. I was looking around in the dark with the rev in hand like a fool trying to find the damn wolf before jumping at me, however the wolf at some point fleed away with fear, the second wolf aswell even tho i didn't do nothing. Realizing there could be a bear nearby (since wolfes run away when they see a bear) i quickly lit the lantern as fast i could to ''scan'' the local area, no bear was around. Confused headed back towards Thomson's crossing, but before that i wanted to make the last check to see if there was something near the farmhouse, only to see somekind of a ''cloud'' forming at the bottom left of my screen for a few seconds, that ''cloud'' looked like those classic ghosts on cartoon or movies for kids and coincidentally no wolfes were around. Y'know it kinda gives me the creeps to think about it althought it could be the ghost that scared those wolfes. Even now, im still confused and the actual reason why those wolfs fleed still remains a mystery to me.
  7. Well excluding hunting and fishing, watering them is way better than beachcomb. I wanna see you get 24 rosehips when you get only 1 rosehip each 7 days (or more if the game decide not to spawn it the first week).
  8. You're technically right, plants won't grow outdoors due to the temp reaching below zero. Althought it is still possible to grow atleast rose hips indoors with seed flats. Do keep in mind it will require alot of attention and water if you want them to grow plus it would take months before they're ready to be harvested.
  9. Great idea, but i would like to see a small overhaul of the clothing system. More exactly an exclusive slot for scarfs and for all accessories, i mean let's be honest, why do you need to replace crampons that are on your feets to wear a wool wrap to cover your ears. It could be even a very small buff for the vest since almost everyone on loper won't wear it for obvious reasons.
  10. I tested it and turns out it doesn't use a match or anything actually, just like in ep 4. Not sure if it's a bug or a feature
  11. Neither the keeper's pass is in the surveyed locations while other transitories are. Plus to note the new piece of soundtrack isn't playing at all.
  12. I had an experience with a mod that allows you to choose where grey and timberwolfs can spawn. All i can say is Coastal Highway with TW is a complete nightmare, especially with the very high setting for wolf spawn. If you end up in a bad spot, you can face up to 10 timberwolfs.

  14. I would choose the birch forest in PV (Lonely cabins) since there's alot of birch bark and i, well, i get into alot of trouble. A house similar to community hall with the addition of a workbench, that would be a good spot if it wasn't patrolled by a bear and sometimes a moose. I can live fine with the PV weather.
  15. It would be simpler adding a lighter (zippo) which would require a ''repair'' consisting of tinder plug (for the string to light it up), flint (either whetstone or coal) and ofc fuel (lamp fuel or accelerant).
  16. In the dev diary Raphael said there will be a new gear item that wasn't in the ep 4, any ideas what could it be? For some odd reasons i have this strong feeling a flashbang could be the gear, i mean after all in a max security prison there should be one i guess? Ik that noisemaker is kinda the same thing, except it doesn't blind and it is considered an improvised grenade since it can injure or even kill wildlife. But NM won't scare away a charging bear, while the flashbang technically could (more it would deaf + blind it, giving you a chance to escape if you're defenseless). Well unless NM can scare away a charging bear then, yeah. Again, any ideas what the new gear item could be?
  17. It's funny how y'all are talking about stupid ideas even tho if HL adds mod support all of this stuff will be created by community. It's a matter of time, i guess...
  18. Actually in a real survival situation this could come in handy. Being alone in the wilderness ,expecially in the dark, after a long time seeing dead corpses and the fear of getting attacked by wolfs or bears would definitely lower your sanity. Making photos or polaroids of paronamas could help you recover some of it but not for long. Trust me, insanity is almostly deadly like freezing and dehydration if not treaded carefully.
  19. Yeah this should be the first aid system in TLD. However i think pain should be persistent till the main cause of the affliction is treated (e.s sprained ankle) but can be temporarily treated by using painkillers (just for 2-4 hours), also the major severity sprain is basically a broken bone but simplified in a video game to make it fair (unlike irl, that takes 2-3 months).
  20. Have you tried closing and opening again the game? Sometimes stuff like that happens in all games, usually closing them and opening should fix the problem. If not then it's a bug or a glitch i guess.
  21. Digital Rights Management. In a poor choice of words it's an aggressive forms of protection against piracy.
  22. Oh man i would love somekind of hallucinations or insanity system in this game, surely making it even more scarier than before. Also i don't know why but one time i was walking in the darkness somewhere in CH, at some point i saw somekind of white eyes, worst part was they we're tall as me ingame. No clue if i was hallucinating or somehow i thought ingame stars were some eyes.
  23. Since Halloween won't be coming to tld this year, i actually found an idea to technically bring it back, as well as giving us a new food item in survival mode The pumpkin pie! It would be cool to find it in SM across some regions (depends where it spawn), and since it gives alot of Kcal i think it should be really rare (identical or rarer than expedition parka). About interloper, it would be nice to ''celebrate'' halloween in that mode aswell but on second thought it would make it slightly easier. Well the choice is yours now.
  24. I don't think hinterland will exclude them from loper and higher difficulties otherwise tin cans would be completely useless. Although improvised smoke grenades made from tin cans could replace noisemakers, rathen scaring away they could confuse wildlife or disorient them, turning it into an emergency escape plan that HAS a chance to work rathen quickly getting TW out of your way by causing explosives noises.
  25. You know more food items would make interloper slightly easier in terms of eating, but i don't really care so and it would really like to see some food you have to prepare and/or cook before eating it (e.g rice, dough, hot cocoa, etc..).
