  1. I feel bad for HL reading some of these replies, honestly. The update itself is decent, although tales not being available on interloper is just a stupid idea. I still don't understand what is wrong with the tale goals against interloper mechanics.
  2. I know that many people suggested a quiver, but this one i thought it would require it's own topic. Why not make the rifle holster be use as an improvised quiver? Yeah it's not going to be efficient as a real quiver, but more or less should do the job fine. In-game the holster and arrow have almost the same height. Obviously you have to choose whether to use it for the rifle or the arrows (perhaps introducing a menu that pops out when the holster is equipped to choose between using it for the rifle or arrows) Also, if im not mistaking, IRL holster are not only used to make it easier carrying firearms but also taking out the firearm faster. Maybe increase the speed of equipping the rifle when the holster is worn? Oh yeah this is also kind of a suggestion to include tales on interloper since this accessory is only available in the tales bunkers.
  3. Had the same issue with containers. Do you have Faster searching mod downloaded? It seems that mod is causing this bug. Well atleast for me, after taking Faster searching out of the mod folder all the containers animations worked as before.
  4. Perhaps you gotta put the ''baseline resources available'' to medium in order to ''turn on'' the tale?
  5. Once the 12 months update ends, TFTFT won't get any updates (expect some bugfixes maybe?). Tho it will still be available for purchase. After that, HL will probably work on ep 5 or another dlc. But it's up to HL to decide what to do after TFTFT is done.

  7. I always thought of a region similar to Forsaken Airfield and Bleak Inlet, surrounded by mountains but one side is open sea. The region would have a destroyed military base with a small missile arsenal and a port, burned forests, and another almost collapsed mine. All of the destruction was caused by it's own missiles activated by the aurora (or glimmer fog).

Although, if it was a global event (aka it can happen outside Far Territory), it would save some time when waiting for the aurora just to open the 2 workshops (+ all future code digit locked doors) It also makes the flashlight useful during the day (mainly exploring places without any electrical light sources). About the handheld shortwave, in the roadmap it's said the shortwave can be activated by glimmer fog AND aurora. But honestly i would like to see it happen outside the FT.

  10. There's alot of possibilities to add, yet only 2 slots (1 if feet or hands slots) to use. It doesn't matter what HL will add for the usage of pelts, we're going to have the same issues still. And what good would do having multiple craftable clothing using x pelts if we can only wear 2 or 1 clothing? At this point we could start thinking a different way to suggest the usage of pelts rathen only for clothing. Perhaps a blanket or harvesting pelts for leather?
  11. Speaking about new clothing, i don't think HL would add some new craftable clothing using cured pelts (since IMO it would fit more in the free paid stream) So the question is... Does clothing variants count as new clothing items? Or it is just some uncraftable clothing that you could find.

  14. Ah damn i got caught... But i may or may not made my suggestion a bit too similar to PZ (since the idea came from it). Perhaps there's another way to add strength and fitness into the game without copying?
  15. What about fitness and strength? For example with strength you could: increase the amount of kg you can carry in your inventory (5-7.5 kgs) increasing the efficiency of all weapons during a struggle (35-45%) reducing the weight taken from wore clothing (up to 40-50%). On the other hand fitness would: increase your maximum stamina (up to 50%) increase your stamina recovery speed (up to 35%) reducing the bulkyness of clothing (up to 25%) Faster running (5-10%) Since these 2 are physical skills, you would only be able to gain xp through an exercise mechanic. Obviously exercising would require a lot of food, water and energy. Also, fitness and strength would be the hardest to maximize to level 5 (if one would exercise 24/7 ingame, it would take like 75-100 days for each skill, so the total would be 150-200 days.) One last thing, since Snow Walker increases the stamina recovery speed by 20% and with level 5 fitness it would increase it furthermore by 35%, it would be quite unbalanced. So rathen increasing stamina recovery, it allows you to start the game with level 3 fitness (just like the Fire Master).

  17. You know, HL's weakness is actually release dates of an update (even they admitted it.) Point is, they're probably doing some progress with the next part, yet they don't know when it will be ready. Simply putting a random date for the update to be released, only to delay it for X problem would be FAR more annoying than their complete silence (atleast imo). HL does not tell us the release date of the next part because they themselves don't know it. Plus, since HL doesn't want to have any technical problems (like the ones in the first part) they probably are doing things slightly slower.
  18. Such thing will probably never be added to the game. The reason is in STEADFAST RANGER update video, it was told they don't want to turn the game into a FPS and dual wielding revolver goes mostly under that category. Although being able to wield both a revolver and a light source could (and i wish) be added to the game.
  19. Im mostly neutral to NPCs or companions but Hinterland decided to break the rules and the loneliness perspective by announcing the trader in TFTFT. Even tho we don't know how they are gonna implement it, it's very likely it's going to be an NPC. So the chance of a companion such as dogs or wolves is much more likely now than before.

Net. 6 runtime can be downloaded on the microsoft website (or just search on google ''net. 6 runtime'' and you should find the page) Once you're in, download either runtime 6 or 7 (not sure if melonloader works with 7, but i think it should). You don't need to save it in any specific folder since that app is just for installing the runtime. Open the app and then click on ''install'' (it might ask you for your authorization in making changes in your pc, if it does click on yes), and it's done! One more thing, on the github issues page of melonloader one said that for some, even after installing this, melonloader still doesn't work (No idea why).

Melonloader works, but you gotta install net. 6 runtime (otherwise it keeps on crashing) Also something happened to modsetting since it keeps crashing due to a missing dependencies (which i can't find anywhere). Because of this, you can't play with 95% of the mods since modcomponent requires modsetting. Only mods that work are the updated ones.

  23. Ability to take off your backpack or technical backpack and place it, displaying some gear attached to it (e.g rifle, lantern, etc...) Nothing of special expect for some immersive feelings.
  24. Wouldn't be easier if they made another clothing status screen only for accessories? Like add an arrow saying ''Accessories'' (substitute of the 2 accessories slot), once clicked, it will open the same status screen but only with accessories slots. Not only it would be more organized but also HL could add as many accessories they want. Also about balance, IMO, it's not really that huge of a problem since all 4 accessories together already gives alot of cons rathen than pros (mainly due to vest). Even if one won't use the vest, the benefits of these accessories aren't that noticeable (except moose-hide satchel). Like the ear wraps warmth bonus won't have much of an effect since Will/Astrid are stuck in an ice age, or crampons removing 5% of your mobility. I think if HL makes it so all accessories take damage at the same time (unlike now, where only 1/2 accessories takes damage.), it should be balanced.
