  1. Kinda related, but not exactly..., Is there a way to copy or export logs? Right now it would seem one would have alt tab between the game/screenshots and whatever program you wanted to write in.
  2. I love the hunting lodge in BR. It's like my own little world there. Well, not the whole island isn't my own little world. I just like it there.
  3. Mapping DP or or maybe crumbling highway. I was all the way at the edge of the map, near the ocean and fell down into a crevice I could not climb out of. These things happen. But I did the same thing in the very next run. 🙄 Stoopid black spots on my map get me every. single. time. I never learn.
  4. I do the same but thought I'd offer a suggestion for those who feel overwhelmed by the amount of their cans. I suppose in pilgrim one could end up with way more than needed even if one or two are placed on on every fire.
  5. I like the idea of making lures from them, or something similar. Of course if you really really really really need to get rid of them, boil them dry until they get to 0% then toss in trash.
  6. I play both. I play survival more so when I do play a story I often forget about the objective because I'm running around, doing my thing like it is survival. Then I see a character or difference and remember, "Oh yeah, I have goals here!"
  7. But this was still your choice. You can choose to starve or not to starve. You chose to do something you didn't like. I just keep hearing my dad's voice in my head saying, "Life is all about choices." We should make choices because they make things better/more enjoyable/whatever. I feel like you were saying because you got a cookie (well-fed) you were willing to make a more enjoyable choice. Without the cookie you would just make a choice that made the game less enjoyable. This does not seem logical to me.
  8. I found one in a locker at the signal tower. Not sure if it's always there or not.
  9. I noticed it as well. I thought it odd that survivors had been straggling in for days, but the plane crashed yesterday. FT never seems quite lucid to me. I think he is confused and like many people suffering from mental conditions/trauma he is convinced others are wrong while he is perfectly sane.
  10. I tripped and caught myself on a wall. Didn't even fall. Sprained my wrist. My daughter fell off a swing set when she was a kid and broke both wrists. She wasn't even swinging, just sort of sitting there kicking her foot against the ground. I made the doctor do a bone density test on her because I'd never heard of someone breaking both wrists at the same time and I was in my 30s before I broke a bone. My ankle. walking through a muddy horse pasture and stepped on a piece of wood that was buried. Well half my foot stepped on it which caused it hyper-extend outwards. Who knows what's under that snow that could trip us up.
  11. I think this is a neat idea, however, I wouldn't not play Ep3 because of it. I mean, you don't have to use that map to navigate. Most of the time you receive a marker you need to check on your map, you are in a building somewhere you know your location. Check your map in those areas and just don't open it. I mean it's pretty easy to not use the marker. In a lot of situations (near icons and such) your marker won't show anyway as it is covered by the icon. It shouldn't be a game breaker.
  12. I don't think a game should be altered because of a lack of willpower. I personally don't want a game changed because someone thinks I might not be able to not starve myself. Maybe I am misunderstanding what is meant by this.
  13. I'm enjoying reading this. Out of curiosity, what do you see as your "essential" items when moving regions? Try as I might, I rarely get below 30kg even when I think I only have what I really need. I guess, matches, can, bedroll are the only real essentials but I am always carrying too much.
  14. Nice job piecing together the Fight Club aspect of Molly/Astrid. I like it. Even my overactive imagination didn't take me there. I enjoyed your review.
  15. Hi from East Texas. No better way for us to go for a walk in the snow than this.

    Seeds

I'm just wondering where the seeds would come from in the first place because seed production is more of spring/summer thing. Light matters too. Need certain amount of light for a certain time (varies by plant) so yeah, might find a few seeds at the old farms but really they aren't set up for crops. They appear to be hay fields and orchards for the most part. I always wonder what they were doing with all that hay since there is no real sign of keeping livestock either. Not a single barn set up for it. And why haven't the deer eaten it? My lonely survivor thinks about these things a lot.
  17. I had no idea this was still a thing. My brothers and I loved this show. Always keep the handyman's secret weapon around.
  18. That is pretty awesome. I've been wondering how they all tie together laid out like that. Nice job and thanks for sharing!
  19. I don't even say I'm playing games anymore. I just tell my sweetie I need to go for a walk in the snow. It's become my "Me Time".
  20. I feel the odd man out. I usually use snares for rabbits. About the only time I stone them is if I'm desperate at the beginning of a run or... let me paint the picture. I play on my laptop and invariably someone wants to see what I'm playing. I usually hightail it to the nearest bunny, stun it and pick it up. I make a point of showing them the bunny and as soon I hear the beginnings of the "Awwww" I snap it's neck, laughing maniacally at their shocked reactions. It's one of my favorite things to show people. That's just my sense of humor, though. IRL I'm an animal lover although being from the country I have probably eaten most of the animals I've been around in my life. My daddy also happened to raise meat rabbits when I was young so eating rabbits is nothing new to me either. I just have a very twisted, often inappropriate sense of humor.
  21. I use my journal to keep a list of the items I leave in different places. It makes me feel better about traveling light as I won't have to worry where I might have left something that suddenly feels important to fetch.
  22. I see that as part of the challenge. What would you do in real life? Lay down and die after two years? I like to think I would keep plugging away. So I do. Of course I don't survive as long as you, either. I haven't even reached 200 days yet.
  23. First off I would love to see more animals in TLD but I'm also happy with it as it is. However, for rabies, the vaccine only helps prevent it from taking hold. If it does, it's almost always fatal. The incubation time can be years as well, So nope to rabies. And just to throw another two cents in, I'm way more afraid of boars than wolves.
