I'm intentionally NOT playing it again in the hopes that when it comes to Survival, it will still have a somewhat new feel to it. Besides, I expect much more easter eggs placed in Survival. I was kind of disappointed in this aspect of Ep4 - all those remote locations you visit, kind of expecting a little treat at the end.
I also had a large stash at the workbench, although I chose to store my "main" gear in the storage containers in the infirmary. I didn't take anything from my workbench stash, thinking I wouldn't need them if the game didn't give me anything.
I've tried a couple playthroughs at different difficulties and was definitely attacked (in fact, every pack was all over me!) on the easiest level. Strange that you weren't...
It currently appears stats are tracked by 1) Current game and 2) by All Time - difficulty (Pil, voy, stalk, loper). I assume the 4 difficulty columns are cumulative across multiple saves. Can we get a "Custom" column so our custom games are also tracked cumulative across saves?
On one of my playthroughs, I'm missing Mystery Lake: "possible old bear location" and there are 6 of them. Anyone know where these are? I've tried mapping known bear caves.
I got the FC quite some time ago, but I just noticed this and thought it would be a tremendous help to those who are still seeking this ach:
The "Force Reveal" will show what you're missing....wow, could of used this when I got the ach!
I've begun noticing more of these since Ep4 was released. I made a post on crow sounds here, but I've been noticing more:
Lighting a lantern
Sleeping on a "grass" mat (typically found in caves)
Music seems to have more "depth" (perhaps my sound drivers?)
Opening doors (such as to Quonset)
Others you've noticed?
For the most part, the sounds "sound" more crisp. I like the old crow, but otherwise, I like the reworked sounds.
Depends what my objective is. If I just want to "chill" and not have to worry about "survival" overly much, I'd pick a lookout or TWM. Survivalist mode would be BRR Hunter's Lodge.
