    If you don't want so many cans, you could always try a harder difficulty/custom game. Or, throw them away? I'd rather have too many than not enough to accommodate the most players.

    There are actually quite a few map icons which require you to zoom in to see (DP comes to mind).

    Hmmm...yeah, PV has been static for me since Ep3, but so has ML (at least in the last 3-4 playthroughs). Based upon what you guys are seeing, guess I was just "lucky" to have it spawn in the same spot.

    Reading occurs in 1 hour increments, correct? What if your food will be done in 30mins (or even less)? I think what OP is asking for is to "read until food is done" then automatically stop reading so you can tend to your food. May want to post this on wishlist forum.

    Yeah, pretty hard question to answer. As other's have said, but also what is your current objective? If it's to gather wood, not much. Hunting/snaring rabbits? Stones and snares, etc.

    Well, you could re-group to gather your strength & equipment or load a prior save.

    In addition to what others have pointed out, there is also an abundance of caches (if you take the time to search). I will usually make HRV my last zone to visit because by the time I do visit, I'm geared up. Besides, I just like the place.

    Almost like it's confused your health bar with your encumbrance...have you ever modded/save game editor on that save?

    I have several games that span pre-Ep3 and Post. All seem okay.

    Last time I crafted something, I had the "select duration" option. Have you tried new game to see if the same thing happens?

    When possible, be patient! If dark is getting near (or even several hours away) and you find a good shelter, stop and spend the night there! Don't think, "Oh, I can push and find another shelter before I freeze." Make the best use of the time you have. One of my favorite time-saving activities is when I have an abundance of food to cook or water to boil, I will put the food/water on, and if time allows, sleep for an hour or 2.
