Even if it's only a survival game, the characters are still human. Being the only person left alive can take a toll and they might make a meal they've had in better times for a feeling of warmth and hope. Just because it's a survival game doesn't mean it has to be hardcore like all the other survival games and be specifically made to the interloper players. Some of us want to just go on with our time, have fun and do silly stuff.

I think they could at least increase the stun time a little bit, but I don't much use stones anymore. Save the energy for something bigger, looking at you smokey!

Maybe like, "The ghost", break it up into a two part challenge. "The ghost" part 1: You're a supernatural investigator and catch wind that there's something lurking around in Ash canyon, you must head out and investigate the lead. difficulty: 3 or 4 Travel from the lookout tower in mystery lake to the gold mine in Ash canyon within 13 days. "The ghost" part 2: The legend is true, and you've been harshly attacked by the beast, larger than anything you've encountered. You must put an end to this creature and spare the region of such horror. difficulty: 5 Retrieve the rifle from the foreman's cabin and put an end to the monster, you have 15 days to complete this.

It hasn't affected me irl but it has made me think of what i'll take with me in games and pay attention to my weight more than before.

There was the mention of a bigfoot in chapter 3, even though that was just a man in a wolfskin jacket, there still could be something in those mountains....

yeah, the moose spawns are kind of annoying, they always spawn at the least opportune times. Like when you're just trying to get somewhere or escape wolves or the cold or something, but never when you need to actually hunt one. It seems like they appear when I don't have my rifle or have more than plenty of food already.

I think they look really good! I especially like the interloper symbol, I've never played interloper but it's cool seeing it like this! The actual wood details on the hatchet is a nice touch.

With that little sound bomb shown for a moment, how would that be made, like what ingredients? I can imagine a recycled can and some gunpowder, but is there anything else? Like clothe for a wick or, what?

bird hunting has been a want for me since a while after i started, and it makes sense you can shoot down crows and get more feathers and meat than just getting a couple feathers around a corpse. It would be cool if they would fly down and start eating the carcass and then you could maybe stun them with a rock like with rabbits. But the main animal I want to see is a mountain lion in timberwolf mountain and maybe ash canyon, I even made a post with clothing items as well. But in all seriousness, I think everyone and their mother wants to see at least a couple new animals.

You forgot one simple detail it's a video game. Even if it's semi-realistic not everything is true to the world

i basically did and chuckled seeing a wolf just retract its head into its shoulders and lie there for a second. That or it ragdolls and shakes violently making half life slamming noises.

Oh. My. God. I just thought of if you taze the wolf it just folds in on itself like some sort of fuzzy turtle and my mind went blank from the thought.

I feel there would be a couple different ways to use it, like for attack/defense. One would be planting the spear like we've seen in the story mode. Another could be charging up the spear to throw, takes a while to bring up and bring to full throw charge, (like a bow's draw), but the power would be devastating to anything it hits, potentially one shotting deer and maybe wolves. A third could be charging the spear for a traditional stab, could ward off a predator for a second after you stab at it and cause that animation for when a flare is lit, (when they stand there snarling, but don't rush you).

I saw at one point where someone suggested adding hollow point ammunition to use against bears and such. Umm? Those kinds of bullets wouldn't do a thing, full metal jacketed bullets maybe, but not a hollow point.

I like the idea of a, "the ultimate challenge", type of mode being in the game(although I'd never play it). it'll give the players that are diehard players that know every nook and cranny and how to survive in this game the biggest challenge they can get. I think people would like it if it was added.
