  1. This was a drawing I made ... Some time after the release of the 3rd episode. I really liked the way it turned out, but I'm slightly annoyed now because there is an ever so noticable tear on Astrid's cheek, and the redness of the character's noses and cheeks have faded a little bit. Regardless, I'm happy with how it looks.
  2. For me its gotta be either spray paint, or the flashlight. The flashlight isn't useful, even during an aurora. I've tried to use the high beam on the aurora wolves, and that barely ever works and I get mauled anyway. It also isn't helpful in tight spots because the beam doesn't have enough distance to widen the beam. Then with spraypaint, I just don't use it all that much. I usually know where the stuff I want to grab is, or the place I stashed that region's spoils. But I do believe the ballistic vest is barely usable as well. The downsides heavily outweigh the protective value of it.
  3. It would make sense. Open it and dump out everything inside. And like what leeanda mentioned, it would be a smart addition considering the addition of the noisemakers, but even if you just need some recycled cans it would be nice to just empty something out and use it.
  4. I usually don't touch anything that is below 30%, but I have 2 exceptions. 1 is with sardines, if it is below 50%, I ain't touching it. 2 is with sodas, I grab those no matter what % it's at.
  5. I think I had this happen once. I shot the bear by the birch forest and tracked it to the river and shot it again, had to go around to make it up a slope and came back around to no blood or tracks. Didn't see the bear running in the distance either but thought nothing of it.
  6. I'm pretty sure he holds it backwards and hits Will with the back of it. He tries with the blade at the end of ch. 4 though
  7. I think Mathis hits will with the back of the hatchet, the blunt part not the blade. Use it more like a hammer.
  8. Throw down a jar of peanut butter to escape the wolf, come back later and there is a wolf running around with a jar on its head.
  9. I think after that first part, if it continues to attack, you could try to stab it again, which could be a 50/50 chance; or you could try to shoot it like struggling with the revolver.
  10. If anything, I'd say it would work similar to the bear spear in a "setting" animation. Raise the rifle and it drains stamina, but if it connects with a charging wolf, it plays an animation of you stabbing the wolf, run out of stamina and the usual struggle animation plays. It could work on a bear as well, but to less of an effect maybe.
  11. usually below 80%, anything higher seems like a waste to me
  12. Oh no, not more prepper cache talk. I spent so long wandering Blackrock looking for the cache and muttering to myself, " In the words of wise Mathis, 'someone is seriously trying to fuck with me'."
  13. Personally, I think the black bears should have been grizzlies from the start. Black bears are usually smaller and the bears in game look more like grizzlies than actual black bears. I don't know, it's just a gripe I have but regarding the op, I think adding a polar bear in its own specific region would be neat. Tankier and stronger than the normal bears we have now, but has a special yield of some type. Now that I think about it, make the liver harvestable. The liver of a polar bear is so packed with I think vitamin A it could kill a man, so maybe use it as some kind of lethal bait for predators?
  14. If most of the acronyms don't have the R for region, why not just label Blackrock as simply "B". Or is that too simple?
  15. So it is on the other side by narrow bridge I think that is? Thanks for the map!
  16. I still didn't find it, is it near mule bridge or on the other side of the map?
  17. Yes, it's just one short run to the elevator and that is it. I'm just happy you get slightly increased time getting to the elevator and getting up it, that was a buzzer beater every time during the story mode.
  18. Yes, you can find some in the mine.
  19. It's always when you're debuffed in some way that you find the most interest points while playing.I'm pretty sure it was the same case for me too. That or I didn't want to explore it yet. Thanks for the info though! I'll check when I get back home and have to make another pilgrim save.
  20. where did you find the cache? I also believe I have an idea on how to get to the mine. Near the bridge is a canyon called "fool's corner" (I think) that has a mountaineering rope, which I think is the start to how you get there, but I went and did something else and ended up perishing before I could try further.
  21. Voyageur is my go to when I need to complete challenges, but I tend to make a custom mode with high loot and animal spawns. It's basically voyageur but with more loot and animals.
  22. I'm going to be honest, I thought a ballistic vest would be one of the last things they would add. But considering the new update and the region specifically, it kind of makes sense. Personally I would've liked to yoink one of those lanterns off the steam tunnel walls. Can't wait to explore the new region though!
