  1. Look for a rope up...but if you didn't get the code from up top...you won't be able to get in even with the Aurora active.
  2. I don't mind that decision on their part. Since the same can be said of HRV. However, HRV is a wilderness area where one wouldn't expect to find a Crafting Table. The "Room With Everything" minus a crafting table in Bleak Inlet makes no sense at all.
  3. I only have one issue with Bleak Inlet...how is there no regular crafting table even in the "Room with everything" on the pier? That makes absolutely zero sense.
  4. I found 2 hacksaws in The Drill Press area itself.
  5. I'm setting up survivors near the potential new transitions. But I'm hoping to enter the new region with my 200+ Day Voyageur Survivor.
  6. You can. It probably isn't intended by Hinterland...and the odds of you doing a regular Summit Run as fast a a P.V. run are slim. But go for it.
  7. Well I'm just saying in my 3,000 plus hours I have. So I will respectfully agree to disagree. Now maybe it was a bug...or a glitch...but I assure it happened.
  8. No I literally found a tin with 20 servings of coffee before. And I know I've found ones with 10 too.
  9. I have found Coffee tins with 20 servings before. But never found a Tea over 5.
  10. Clearing out the Plane Crash in P.V. nearing Day 200 in my Voyageur Sandbox.
  11. Sounds epic as usual! THANKS for GIVING us all your hard work!
  12. I've filed a ticket as well a long time ago aka before Episode 3 hit. I lost all my badges. But following someone elses instructions allowed me to get 3 back. You basically load up an old game...one with the most feats...since I play Stalker I was lucky enough to have a game with 3 feats including Fire Master. Play it...and then make sure you save it before exiting. You should now have the 3 badges...or whatever you had in the save you used...back again. As of know I guess I'm content if I have to earn the other badges again...but if I had to earn Fire Master again I'd be mightily annoyed.
  13. Yes limbs respawn often after blizzards. Really violent windstorms "tear them off trees" et voila! Easy to test especially around Trappers and Mountaineers Hut. I play on Stalker.
  14. Here's an article I did on the Dam Pre and Post Wintermute. https://thelongdarksurvivors.wordpress.com/2019/02/20/transformation-carter-hydro-dam/
  15. I spent almost all of my first 2,000 hours of Survival in The Long Dark learning and surviving in Voyageur. I have spent my last 552 hours in Stalker. It's funny that I've seen people stating the Stalker is about mowing down tons of wolves to keep things in check. I myself used to talk refer to the wolves in Stalker as human seeking missiles. But as I've played Stalker I've actually found that I've learned to avoid wolves rather than engage in combat with them. I certainly never spend time or resources culling the wolf population. Generally my goal is to get Bow(s) and arrows made ASAP...and then lay my rifle aside and use the Bow Revolver combination. The moment I heard we were getting a Revolver I knew that would be my team up of choice. As for the amount and distribution of revolver ammunition it varies vastly with each Stalker Sandbox I've started since Steadfast Ranger. In my current recording box I didn't find my revolver until after surviving a month in game...and then I found 2 others two days later in DP. I've found that the amount of ammo has never become laughably over the top, and to be entirely honest I'd rather have plenty of ammo because I'm not nearly always accurate with my shots.
  16. Yes I am! On my i3...so don't expect it to run lickety split or with all the fancy bells and whistles. Commentary on the morning stream(s) no commentary on afternoon and evening streams. Always Stalker all the time.
  17. I totally get that. Everyone has their individual play styles. To be very honest I love that sprains are more costly now. I also love the blurring effect for pain it really brings the pain to life for me.
  18. While I tend to run around heavy...I am now being very careful about that. That said I've never been a TLD hoarder so to speak. I don't bring everything in a region to a central location, to mee that seems pointless. I take what I need and move on.
  19. The Slope Warning Indicator does go off in front of Grey Mother's house and being 5 Kilos overweight is a risk I'm trying to avoid right now. That combination even after a good night's sleep could indeed produce a sprain. Also my response was to my friend Icehole and based on his screenshots and questions.
  20. Since the Revolver is a single handed weapon you can hold it with one wrist sprain but not both. Also you are both over encumbered and more than 3/4ths tired so I'd expect to stumble and get a sprain as you did in your situation.
  21. Then I encourage to visit the Ice Caves in Hush River Valley.
  22. Actually the note is tagged on to the Hunting Lodge. "On the outside."
  23. All I'll say is that to be safe I played Episode 2 events in the relative same order I did in my Predux series. So I did the Hatch Mission long after The Rifle/Spear finding and fixing mission just to be safe. It was essentially the last major mission I did before returning to the dam to close out the Episode.
  24. For me I never had any Aurora between getting/fixing the rifle in Predux and returning with it to Jeremiah. I finished the Aurora Hatch after returning to Jeremiah and killing the bear. Exactly as I did in Redux.
  25. I think it has to be a bug and for that I'm sorry for you guys. Basically I just did everything quickly because the Aurora on this quest has been known to go away in a flash. Clicked on the keypad...sounds of pressing numbers...clunk...as soon as I heard the clunk I clicked on the door which then opened....because I wanted to get in and out in the same aurora I ran through and got burn damage. Only to find that there was food and drink in the bunker alone to survive to the next aurora. I was stuck in the bunker for I think 3 nights before the next aurora triggered.
