I would have had to have climbed up to the mine leading to Coastal Highway, walked across the Trestle (drunk) then the fallen tree bridge in the Ravine, OR stumbled through the caves leading to Winding River, then crossed the Dam (drunk) and somehow made my way through the building.  I always leave cooked fish in the Ice Hut nearest the Camp Office as a back up food supply.  I must have had quite a hankering, but only made it as far as the bridge and passed out.  😄🐟   Minty fresh morning breath at least.

I can't believe this wasn't an Instakill?  Practically sunk that shaft thru his skull up to the feathers and still got pounced upon.  Managed to stick him with the knife a couple times more before he took off.  Damn thing ended up running nearly almost two valleys over from where I shot it.  Wouldn't probably have even found the carcass if it wasn't for "ech-crow location."  At least I got my arrow back

Wreck Of Old Ninety Seven

Trying to get to Spencer on time, the engineer issued an order to shovel on more coal.  The result caused the train, keep in mind this train is not thirty eight but old ninety seven, to go ninety miles an hour.  Loss of air brakes and going down on a three mile grade caused the train to jump.  Witnesses to the tragic event reported that the whistle broke into a scream.  Steve the engineer was found dead amongst the wreckage.   Found grasping the throttle he was scalded to death by the steam.  A tellagram was issued through Washington station to his bereaving family.  Included are details that Steve was couragous and kindhearted.
