Sobered by the birth and death dates on the tombstones... so young. So very young...

Looking at little details, because I love them so much...

I think my favorite spot in Milton is right next to the sign by the tower that says, "Scenic View."

Being back in Mystery Lake always feels like a homecoming.  I met my oldest friend on Great Bear again today.  He's been here since the beginning.  He is the one creature on the island that I try never to disturb and will always protect from predators.  In five years I've not failed him.

I call him:
"The Prince of the Forest"

Once I had committed myself to surviving there exclusively for a lengthy stretch... I quickly discovered it was my favorite region.

PV has been my favorite since I explored enough of it to adapt to the weather. I'm having the same experience with TM (and the weather is easier), so I'm now wondering if HRV (which I've not been to yet) will end up being my favorite. The more an area is removed from civilization, the more I like it (provided, of course, I've ransacked the remnants of civilization somewhere else first).

Hunting just west of the bear cave near the Wing in Timberwolf region.  It was tempting because my guy has been struggling with cold damage, but holding out for cooking mastery to avoid intestinal parasites.  Got passive, but apparently curious critters in this custom settings attempt.
