Sundered Pass is giving me Episode 3 vibes. 

Nevertheless, still a fantastic region. The wolves seem to really like the region too, perhaps unfortunately lol.

Nothing spectacular or magnificent here. Just noting an unusual find in vanilla Stalker- an improvised knife by a corpse in one of the Waterfront Cottages across from the QGS. I am not sure I have ever found one indoors, in a container or otherwise, in Stalker. (A big smile for the occasional weirdness of random loot spawns.)

Sudden accidental catastrophic third-person game play.
Interesting game glitch/crash. Got stuck. Could only fire arrows. Could not move, could not escape whatever this was. Happened when I tried to pick up an arrow off this dead wolf. I think it was confused about entering the harvest mode for the wolf.

Cause we cannot have a save, this cost me about an hour and a half of play. Thank goodness I have routine backups, or it could have cost me a 13 months of play.

Always happy to find a fully stocked Prepper's Cache instead of an empty one, especially happy to have found this one. No rifle, but tons of cured pelts and lots of low quality food (most of which will be left behind, along with all of the firewood). Multiple lanterns, which will get left behind (I'll come back for them), some  decent clothing (Climbing socks and a Fisherman's Sweater- Yay!) and the Hunter's Revolver (also Yay!). Yes, the trek here was worth it.

My constant companion in Stalker, usually accompanied by the sounds of hidden toothy critters howling not too far away. Yinz can all walk with the traditional Grim Reaper avatar, this is how GR lets me know they are there:

I am very much enjoying the floating deer carcass that spawns near Reluctant Shortcut in Sundered Pass. I always roast it whole over my fire, like a spit-roast without the spit. Yum.
