  1. Hehhe, yes that's a tense one!😁I just met him again and took his meat! Edit: and yes, region is fantastic, I just finished x9m0letepy exploring her and set up a few bases in folly, anglers and homestead. Experience was a gentle pleasure! Almost died a few times!
  2. Thank you! That's a superb idea!
  3. Invisibility cloak crafted? Nice to see some IPS in action! (Intense predator surveillance) I was sneaking towards foreman's hideaway in ash canyon with bear in front. It was some intense unarmed sam fisher stealth! Narrow passage with no places to run.
  4. That repair didn't work for everyone. OP claimed he was able to fix them on mill station, but others did not have any success. Perhaps there was a hotfix and hinterland changed something..
  5. It would make sense to get it all back in reclaimed wood. It isn't a sophisticated structure.
  6. We need some uber hyper aggressive NPCs there so you can never get in😁👍
  7. We will not survive if weather keeps getting colder. Everyone will freeze.
  8. I got mine a long time ago and they're still 100%, although I o ly use them when climbing or when traversing thin ice or where I know terrain is easy to suffer strain. They used to get wet and not dry up, but after I dried mine up by letting them sit near fire then equipping and equipping, they dried up and haven't been wet ever since. I almost thought there was a quick update that fixed wetness. Wetness is sometimes good, but not in crampons.
  9. I think molotov brings certain unintended consequences. Instead of using liquor to make a molotov, I'd want to let my Astrid pour a cup instead. "Drink up, honey, this evening could be our last; let us celebrate our accomplishments together!" Also, forest and cabin fires are not modeled. Same for flammable animals. Only possible use I could think of is scaring off animals? Edit: I didnt read your post, too lazy, so you may have covered most of these things there..
  10. Is it wintermute(story mode)? I think you may need 'instructions' in the story mode to craft stuff.
  11. In ash canyon, this sight is like pepto-bismol to upset stomach!!
  12. I know, poor hinterland, we keep asking them to add this and that, but the engine is operating at full capability already. 😞💔
  13. Well now I'm confused. I saw with my own 3 eyes that fishing ta Klein is faster! I always thought it was the opposite! Edit: I always thought sewing kit was faster until I saw it with my eyes.
  14. Ah my dear princess, my body is longing for your presence, but alas, woe unto us, we shall never meet for you have angered the gods of bleak inlet. One must never speak aloud of their holy streams of water, for it is frozen solid perpetually. Even the timberwolf is smiling upon your future demise as the weather shall turn sour against you on the lands of great bear... I am sorry.... Dr.Z, where did you capture such clear day? That cannot possibly be ash canyon? Perhaps hush river valley? Terrain looks much too treacherous for it to be other regions! Do tell, thank you!
  15. The rumble of a thousand chariots is heard in the distance. Is the forest on fire? No, it's just nicko cooking up a bear. @piddy, thos is what happens when you try to dodge s bullet. A tree limb will get you!
  16. Okay., so I was stuck in some bad weather on top of ash in the evening. Yes. It was unprecedented. The cold. The fear. I sprinted across those bridges. I survived. This is my story. dear hinterland: Please make the bridges rock in radial motion in addition to lateral motion. That way I don't sprint across them when I get anxious. It is very easy to do, you sprint and steer. Very easy. It feels like I run like a train in a straight and steady path and bridge just moves little bit left and little bit right. If it were rocking in radial motion, i could easily get thrown off if i attempt something...eh, inefficient 😞 Thank you!!!💝
  17. That's a little twisted in a funny way😂 Friends, stand by, I have many great photos from ash canyon coming up. Film is developing, sorry.
  18. I killed a bear last night(not the real one), and because my clothes were wet, I harvested like 3 hours worth and dropped it on the ground next to a bear because I was close to hypothermia at that point. Reason I even began harvesting is so that bear won't disappear in case theres YUGE blizzard and I have to miss couple days. Having level 5 makes it great; I don't need to worry about meat going bad. After cooking, you get 50% condition back and the rest doesn't even matter. I'm a very good cook, even ruined meat is yummy and edible!😋👍🐛
  19. You can still use tinder. Also, you can still get parasites from eating raw. You could try that!🐍🐉🐛🕷
  20. Shimmying? Is that something to do with women?
  21. You may have to explore a little more. There might be another one somewhere. If you need wood and can't find hatchet, you'll have to settle for sticks..
  22. Not enough sticks upstairs! I really like how foreman's retreat is set up, but you quickly realize that there's a very big problem with firewood! I broke all planks outside and a few overturned chairs and cooked a bear+some water. Looking at what's left of my firewood, it won't be enough for another bear if I wanted to hang around. Theres a HUGE fallen cedar tree, which would provide like 100+ firewood, but you cannot break it down. Traveling few days just for firewood doesn't seem attractive, even though the spot is fabulous.😒 Edit: and I don't like to break apart tables that can serve as house decor and storage. If you burn them, house will look like an empty box, so burning them is out of the question.
  23. Well, I did not know that. Why though? It doesn't make sense if you can eat them at level5? Edit: adding: one thing I did not like at all is for some reason, you cannot place a bed on the floor inside that fishing hut. You cant place bed even on ice anywhere!! I had to run to the land to sleep!🙄sooo strange.
