  1. Thank you very much for working on this! One question, when the bug is fixed, will the key be back in the current 'bugged' saves or will we need to start new ones to be able to access the farm? I apologise if this is a pretty stupid question, I was just wondering.
  2. The meal passed by all too quickly, in a blur of good natured chatter and pancakes. Emma, as usual, was the first to go to bed, after playing with the dog for a while, taking turns with Amy, throwing a stick across the room. Mocha clearly had no retriever in her, and the duo spent more time trying to get her to bring it back, but it was good fun. For the first time in a while, Amy felt optimistic that maybe things would work out. Christine went to bed next, leaving Amy and Erik alone. "So, I guess we have a plan!" Amy cautiously started the conversation, having no idea where the conversation would end up. It was impossible to tell with Erik. Sometimes they would have a perfectly rational conversation, othertimes, they'd be too awkward to even sit on the same sofa together. Erik shrugged. "I think I'm going to go to bed now too. Busy day tomorrow." Amy, feeling a little affronted, got up. "I might as well do the same." She started heading for the guest room, not quite sure if they were in that stage in the relationship, if you could call it that, when they share a bed. Erik seemed perfectly happy on the sofa, anyway. Morning came far too soon for all four of them, none getting much sleep. Because of excitement (Emma), because of anxiety (Amy), because of both (Christine) and because of the truck (Erik) Amy got up and got ready before heading into the living room, unsurprised to see everyone up. Christine glanced over, "Glad to see you're up. We've come up with a bit of a plan." She started, "Erik will prepare the truck, you and Emma can get packing, and I'll sort out the clothes." Amy nodded, "Sounds good." After a quick breakfast, they got to work. Knowing roughly what they needed, Amy and Emma quickly started on their task. They started in relative silence, before Amy attempted to engage in small talk. "So, are you looking forward to seeing the base?" Emma shrugged, "I guess. I'd like to see Dad's base. I don't really remember him that much anymore." Amy hesitated, "Yeah, I know what it's like." Emma glanced over, curious. "What do you mean?" "My biological mother died when I was born. Complications, I suppose. At least you still have some memories." She added, trying to keep the spirit positive. "That's true. We don't talk about him much, though. Until now." "It must have been hard for Christine, raising you alone." "I bet it isn't. I'm a good kid, she always tells me that." Emma boasted. Amy chuckled, amused. After an hour, Christine joined the packing but neither one mentioned their conversation. The work was done in near silence, as the three were lost in thought, thinking about the arduous journey that lay ahead.
  3. Ohh my bad, I think I remember that location. Sorry, it looked like an ice cave and I kind of assumed
  4. Agreed, there is no need for that kind of language.
  5. After taking a stop at the police station, Erik and Amy began driving towards Christine's. The drive into the town had not been a particularly picturesque one, blood stained the snow, caused by the corpses they saw, occasionally. Fortunately they had been covered by a light layer of snow, masking the gruesome injuries. "What do you think happened?" Amy questioned Erik, like he had a clue. "Wolves, by the looks of the pawprints. Lots of them, it seems." He responded, glancing out of the window. "I didn't think they came into the town often." "They didn't." The rest of the short journey was done so in silence, both deep in their own thoughts. For once, Amy's mind wasn't on Erik. She was looking forward to getting back, as nice it had been to spend time with Erik. Mocha had been left with Christine and without her dog, Amy felt a little lost. Mocha was the last tie that she had to her boyfriend, though the thought of him made her cheeks redden from guilt, and the fact that it was freezing out. They arrived at Christine's uneventfully, and Amy knocked on the door whilst Erik got the food. There was a moments pause before Christine opened the door slightly, clearly wary, though she opened it fully once she recognised who it was. "Sorry for taking so long. Looks like we've missed a lot." Amy apologised and the two exchanged a brief embrace. Mocha, unsurprisingly, was overjoyed to see her owner again. "I have a small favour to ask of you," Christine started, once they had all gotten in, looking at Erik. "What is it?" Erik looked a little intreagued and the trio sat down around the table. "I've been thinking, it's time to get out of here." Christine started. Amy already had dozens of questions but kept quiet, letting her friend continue. "My husband has, had, this military base down in the mountains near Black Rock. If you let us use your truck, we could perhaps head there. It's safer than here, that's for sure." Erik didn't immediately say no, which was a start. "What will we do about fuel, then? My truck won't run forever." Christine looked a little unsure, "It isn't that far, we'll be able to make it." "But what if we don't? A stationary truck in the middle of the wilderness would be a prime target for anything!" Erik raised his voice, slightly. "This is my truck that we're talking about." "We either stay here and die, or we take a risk and go somewhere safe." Christine responded, sharply. Not wanting it to turn into an argument, Amy hastily intervened, laying her hand on Erik's arm in a reassuring manner. "Christine has a point. I think we don't have much choice." Erik sighed, looking thoroughly displeased. "Fine." Christine watched the two, slightly bemused by how quickly Amy had changed his mind. Not thinking anything of it, she headed off to tell Emma the good news
  6. I might do. I'm normally awful with horror games, but this seems interesting. Might wait until I know the maps, first lol
  7. Exactly, plus with pilgrim you get feats and I doubt the game could get much easier. I used to believe feats shouldn't be allowed in custom, but now I do 100% agree, feats should be added. As someone who often plays a custom stalkerloper, I second the idea for a 5th difficulty. Not sure what it would be called. I like the name Wanderer, but that seems a lot more laid back than a mix between stalker and interloper.
  8. Ah my bad, this is all coming from someone who has never played darkwalker. That's a good idea, definitely seems challenging
  9. First off, cursing is discouraged in this forum so please use more polite language 🙂 @Smellyfries is completely right, the game deliberately deletes your saves. Imo if you could just reload a file when you died, it would eliminate what most, if not everyone here, loves about TLD: the risk. Weighing up possible options as one false move ends up with the save gone forever. If they just let you reload, difficult situations become a lot less tense If you have requests like this, please post them in the correct subforum (the wishlist forum)
  10. Hm, no coffee/stims? From what I've heard, those are pretty necessary. To make it even harder, you could not use those glyphs either,if they are used with the challenge, not sure if the event was modified in any way
  11. I'll stick with mystery lake then! Would have gone with unpleasant valley, though the weather put me off. Unless we can make it 30°C sunshine all day long 😁
  12. 76. Thinking the moose in the distance is just a deer, so you shoot. You find out the hard way - it's not a deer
  13. I'd say TWM or BR (broken railroad) if we're unable to tweak things but if we could I'd say good old Mystery Lake. It has plenty of houses and wildlife spawns and is a decent size. I'd throw a forge in the dam and then it would be perfect. Being the first ever region, to me its one of the best, with a nice wilderness:structures ratio.
  14. Not a massive fan of living down at milton, but it sure has some lovely views
  15. Sorry for the late response. Thought it might be the PA mod, great mod ! Can't imagine my bases without it, I can finally put books on bookcases! Yes, we need red glowing eyes! I wouldn't dare look bored at his talks. Can't wait to see more of what you come up with! You could try inside the br penitentiary (I hope that's spelled right). I know it's outside but it is a large space, plus there's that little interior without a loading screen
  16. I'd assume so,in regards to the monstrous bark. Shame, it gave me amusement when I stumbled across Will-sized bark. Forget snow shelters, you could hide under those in a storm! Hope that blizzard goes away soon, looking forward to more of your adventures 🙂👍
  17. Yes, hopefully. Plus there's that guaranteed one near TWM. If you have enough for a snow shelter, then blizzards should hopefully not be an issue, not to mention the fact that there are probably a lot of caves. Though of course it's up to you!
  18. I'd recommend AC. Even though you don't know the place very well, the way to the mine is pretty well sign posted, and there are always maps that you can use. Plus, pv could have a lot of things that you'd need, including more wildlife! 😁
  19. Glad to see you've taken up the idea for renovating the community hall! What mod did you use for making the clothing look like people? And I agree with another reply, fleece cowl man is a little creepy! Wish I'd been in pv, would have definitely come by to join in this little competition
  20. Enjoy your trip! Always wanted to go to florida
  21. Christine closed the shutters quickly, not wanting Emma to witness the chaos. She was safe, tucked away in bed, but she expected the sound of screaming and snarling to be a bit of a wake up call. She knew that they were safe, the door had been bolted and was sturdy enough to withstand any wolf attack, but Christine was still a little worried. Amy still hadn't returned. It may have seemed selfish but though the thought had crossed her mind, Christine didn't want to head out in the massacre to look for her. It was Amy's idea to go visit Erik, and stay for so long. Plus Christine had a child to take care of, and wasn't about to risk her life when she had Emma. Amy could take care of herself. Hopefully. It wasn't long before she heard the sound of crying coming from upstairs, and her thoughts switched like the pleasant valley weather. She couldn't let herself get distracted, and had one priority in life, one that she valued far above her own wellbeing. Emma.
  22. That's so cool! I like the little details you've added to the rocks and the wolf looks great 🙂
  23. Sorry for the late response but yes and no. No, you don't have to feed it, but you can do if you wanted, it's just a feature added for immersion. I recommend messaging @Digitalzombieif you have any questions about it as they are the one that who made said mod
  24. If @Matt Lomaxdoes more shaving, you could make a feathered cloak to finish the look! I imagine you'd win the Great Bear fashion competition with your eyes closed! Especially considering your only competition are bears and moose there 😜 Same with the london one, just with less wildlife 😁 I'm sure you'll find more ammo soon, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞🙂
