I've not had a chance to look myself, has anyone noticed any mods not working? I have quite a few and I'm not quite sure how this update has impacted them. If I do notice any mods not working, I'll put it in this thread. Oh, and if any mods don't work, what do I do? Do I just uninstall them? Thanks!

Thank you hinterland, for your hard work! Those bugs must be a pain to fix. I'll be looking forward to your next update! Can't wait to see what is planned for later updates. Hopefully this won't impact my mods too much🤞

Those are much better, imo. They'd take a while to get but are completely possible without grinding for hours And I apologise if I had seen overly harsh before, I was simply stating my opinion and I feel that now you've changed them now to much better levels

Well said. The game is there for you to enjoy however you want. I personally try not to use maps but I often do when I'm lost, it lets me know where to go and I find most of the way through memory. I do agree with @Leeanda, maps certainly have their uses. Well the op is right about maps somewhat tainting the experience of a new run, they are there to be used or not to be, whatever suits your playstyle

Ah, you mean you just load into the game with bearskin items? I have to agree with you then, with those kinds of mods. It would take the experience away if you could just start with them, or something. After all, isn't half of the game just freezing to death

I honestly seriously doubt players drink or eat that much. Of course I don't know, but it just seems like way too big a number. And yes, I do want them to be challenging and hard to get, though it just seems like with yours, they border on near impossible with some. Perhaps you eat about 30,000, maybe even 50,000 calories for a lower bonus? Still a large number, but something that is possible to get after a while

You didn't seem rude at all. I took a closer look and it has two sets of three zeros which I believe makes a million, or three million in this case. 🙂 And I agree, though what do you mean by it should be more not feats? Do you mean it should be in the game without needing said feat for it?

I have to say, I don't like the fact you have to grind for your feat ideas. I like earning them as I play, feels more rewarding, yet how am I going to accidentally get food poisoning that much? And a couple of yours do feel somewhat impossible such as: Perhaps this one is possible, but only with a lot of grinding. I like how the feats ingame are possible to get through just playing the game, though some take a while it's certainly doable. Eating three million calories or drinking three million litres of water would just take forever. You have to take into account that though a feat is meant to be hard, it has to be doable. And the moose and bear one though it isn't too hard to get, like @Bearimpaler101said, it would make it easier. And it seems very unrealistic, the fact you can harm or even kill such strong beasts with a knife Some of yours I do like This one seems possible, along with some others, though my point remains the same. In my opinion they need to be hard, but doable without a lot of grinding Of course, this is all my opinion. Maybe you like the challenge of grinding, but I thought I'd just share my opinion and I apologise if it seems harsh or anything 🙂

Agreed! Though I have one question, how would mods take it away? They add a bunch of stuff to the game that arguably make the game easier in some cases, though I haven't found it to take away the anxiety-fueled enjoyment that tld gives when I'm lost. Some mods, if anything, seem to enhance the experience (such as placing anywhere, ambient lighting) I agree with everything else said, I was just a bit curious to know your opinion as personally, I'm not sure how using mods can take away the experience.

That is true. I just wish it was possible to discuss differences in a less hurtful way though you do have a very good point. Perhaps locking this thread would be a good idea as the phrase I was mentioning has not been used for a while, and I don't want to argue over something (survival not camping) which is now rather pointless

I completely agree, nothing was wrong with that post I had quoted. I was giving examples to another member to provide context and the fact other players have been recently using it. I did mention, if I remember correctly, about how that post was not offensive. I didn't want to fill the thread with just one person using said phrase. And surely there is a nicer way to sharing an opinion. That said, I do agree and admit there was little point adding in that quote. I stand corrected on that front 🙂 (not sure why the quote thing went a bit weird) This however, I disagree on. There is a different between a little harsh and being downright impolite. If people disagree, they can do so in a politer manner, not just 'it doesn't make the game harder, therefore it's bad', like I'm sure you've seen. If you say something offensive or harsh but it's sustained by some sort of point, that doesn't automatically make it ok. I can understand your points, and agree with some, however it's clearthat neither one of us will agree with each others opinions and that's fine, of course. Everyone has different opinions, though I feel that it's best that we agree to disagree. Edit, after all, I've not seen anyone use the phrase in a long time so I see no point in wasting each others time debating about this.

I can see your point, though I politely disagree. It is not the phrase that is impolite, it is the way its used. Yes, it might technically be a survival game, but it (the phrase) is now used to put other players, and their ideas down. Just because they aren't hardcore survival loperists. If it were just used harmlessly, this thread would not exist. I see no issue with the term if it is used like how you said, just to remind others of what it's about, but, like many things, it's the context that then can make it offensive. Maybe not offensive, thinking about it, but it's certainly not polite. Though my examples were not of trolls, is that behaviour really acceptable in this community? Does them not being trolls make them any less impolite? And I apologise if this sounds rude, I do respect and understand your views and I hope you can do the same with mine

I don’t know if you have been on the paradise meadows thread but the admin has mentioned that they are close to releasing an update. Not sure if it’s simply a small one to fix the bugs, but I thought I’d let you know 🙂 Curious to see if you could take a moose down with a revolver! And don’t worry about insanity, I feel like anyone willing to take the suffering and hardships that TLD gives you makes the vast majority of players a little crazy 😉
