  1. Yup, this. This is also a symptom of this issue. We can see the bear, but the game doesn't acknowledge it exists.
  2. My thoughts exactly. Most drop in Autumn, but seems there are always some stragglers and considering an oak tree would have hundreds, if not thousands, of acorns... I suppose it depends on when the acorns drop. I was thinking they would drop after the snow falls, hence you wouldn't have to dig to soil to retrieve them. A quick search says that most acorns drop in Sep or Oct so this would support @ajb1978's theory, but even then, the acorns would be sitting on top of the soil and the ground would likely be frozen. I still think the main reason is for gameplay - marking the spot harvested.
  3. @GothSkunk, I started this thread with non-SV bunkers in mind, but I'm happy to answer your question about SV Caches. Yes, the SW will "beep" when in proximity to an unfound cache during an aurora even if you don't have it in your hand. Here is the number of caches I've found in each region:
  4. I'm sure the point of the dark stain is so you can see from a distance if you have harvested or not. On the topic of acorns, has anyone seen an oak tree drop more ("regrow") after time has passed since harvesting?
  5. Sounds like what he's describing is not a decay issue? I have also had numerous instances where this happens, @Bloodskye. Very frustrating.
  6. I had fallen in that same "trap" when FA released. I did inform HL.
  7. Is it possible there was only 1 empty casing in the revolver(assuming this is a newly found revolver)?
  8. Thanks. I'll check out those 2 on my existing run. Can you check your 3rd?
  9. Which 3 were stocked on your 3 runs?
  10. I've noticed that as well, but I think it's just a synchronization issue between the aurora and the radio/computers.
  11. I will consider that. I have done quite a bit of BC already (as you can see in my other BC post) and have yet to find the new clothing items. If it is truly RNG, I could be BC a VERY long time. I did find a 2nd aviator cap loosely laying at the airfield. No hockey jersey yet. I may have to wait for the new area to be released to have a chance at that.
  12. I do have the dev console and that is an option but I try to only use that when absolutely necessary - like when I ran out of batteries and couldn't finish Tales.
  13. I'd be interested to hear in PM or a spoiler if anyone has found more caches than I have found. I want to find them all!
  14. Finally finished them up: Seemed harder than last time. In order to trigger something besides the "base" memory, I had to fully exit and reload the game each time
  15. I didn't say you needed to leave, I was simply stating what happens in the real world. None of us know what business model HL has adopted. I assume they want to be successful and I'm simply arguing that if they want to please the majority of their player base, they would focus the majority of their time on that. I think we can all agree on that despite your philosophical views. And I've never suppressed anyone's opinion on here - one of the things I love about this forum. I have an opinion and you have an opinion. Our opinions differ and we are arguing why we have our opinions. What's wrong with that?
  16. I've only done Tales once and the only transmitter I found with a battery (one) was FA.
  17. Me, after too many cans of Pork and Beans.
