Since TFT, it seems that buffer memories are acting oddly. My latest mission is to collect them all (again). I've been utilizing the methods of 1) transitioning out, then in and 2) exiting the game and reloading to help trigger different memories. I keep noticing that the memories on any particular terminal seem to have one memory in particular that it shows a vast majority of the time. Is anyone else experiencing this?
"We’ve also added three new clothing items – a Hockey Jersey, a leather Flight Jacket, and a matching Aviator Hat. You’ll find them scattered around Great Bear, so you will find them as you explore locations and search containers."
Good morning. As a player that loves TLD and probably plays more than I should(!), with my existing run/save, prior to Part 2 being released, I have looted (to my knowledge) all containers on Great Bear. Regarding the statement above from the March Dev Diary, in particular "search containers", I assume that since my containers are empty, I will lose out on the opportunity to find new DLC items in those containers. I also assume new containers are NOT being added to the game to account for this situation. This leaves players like me to rely on finding these items that are placed "loose" by HL. @Admin, is HL doing anything to offset this assumed "discrepancy"? Thanks.
?? You shouldn't feel embarrassed/insulted - we each have our own lives and choose how to use the time we have. I admire you for spending time with your family! My kids are both grown.
This! As said, in other games, I will usually turn the background music to a very low volume, but not with TLD - it is subtle when playing and infrequent enough to not make it an annoyance. I just wish we could turn UP the volume of radios playing that great classical music during aurorae.
Well, on the one hand, there used to be 3 bunkers (ML, PV, BR) and there are still 3 full ones and 6 empty ones. So, if you want to find the 3 full ones, you may have to find all 9, but...the locations are static now so you're no longer having to search for them like we used to. So, I see some give and take, but for the most part, equal to old way.
Now, just imagine all 9 being randomized in 8-9 possible locations in 9 zones!! That would take longer, but would also encourage you to explore the zone...
You make a valid point. It would be interesting to see how many players "don't mind it" and play within the confines defined by HL. If a landslide majority are opposed to it, I could see the need for it to be removed.
Depending upon difficulty, there really may not be much of a need to move around frequently. Depends on your current goal, I suppose. There are many places, I believe, you could almost stay indefinitely, if you wanted.
You will likely find them in PV, but they are scattered. Try to think of places where it would make sense to have those items...garages, shops, maybe stores.
I agree with both of you: sights, sounds, and one of my favorites - the music.
Also, the simplicity of play - you don't need to memorize 30 key bindings/combinations to play the game effectively.
