  1. Since my original reply in 2020, I'm revising my response: My least favorite base is anywhere with Timberwolves.
  2. I'm going to assume that the Poisoned Affliction can only be obtained by being bitten by a Poisoned Wolf. This may affect the treatment needed (laceration/puncture vs. ingestion).
  3. I've been playing a new game recently: Mr. Prepper. Simple, but really enjoying it!
  4. While I agree the question could have been asked differently, I don't see anything "silly" about the issue brought up.
  5. You wouldn't see anything (if they do decide to put it there, which is unlikely since the latest dev diary) until they actually implement the change.
  6. Yes, thanks for mentioning that! I like the idea of using natural substances found in the existing game as cures.
  7. True, but bacterial complications typically go along with poison. I suggested Reishi because one of it's purported benefits is as a poison cure: OVERVIEW Reishi mushroom is a fungus. Some people describe it as "tough" and "woody" with a bitter taste. The above-ground part and portions of the below-ground parts are used as medicine. Reishi mushroom is used for aging, boosting the immune system; viral infections such as the flu (influenza), swine flu, and avian flu; lung conditions including asthma and bronchitis; heart disease and contributing conditions such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol; diabetes; kidney disease; cancer; polyps (growths) in the colon or rectum, and liver disease. It is also used for HIV/AIDS, altitude sickness, symptoms in the urinary tract in men, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), trouble sleeping (insomnia), stomach ulcers, poisoning, and herpes pain. Other uses include reducing stress and preventing and treating different kinds of fatigue.
  8. Yeah, guess just play style. Seems like I'm always building fires so always have charcoal available.

It's an interesting use of words. Why not just say, "It's more than lights in the sky" and leave it at that?
  10. The OP's last visit was Jul 15, 2021. Not sure if he's reading this anymore
  11. This already exists to some extent. Look at all the frozen bodies, some with pills, knives or "crime scenes". I think if we added more of these, it would make those we do find less "special". Just my 2 cents. @piddy3825's post showcases them well.
  12. Completing the cairns gave me something to do on my 2k+ day run
  13. With the abundance of charcoal, why would this be needed? Now, if we could use it to scribble notes on our map, THAT I would be in favor of!
  14. Would it be: Wear one or the other? IME, you can't really wear a CamelBak over a traditional backpack.
  15. The games that do replicate a (city for example), may only need to get "permission" from the city itself (a single entity). Now, if they wanted to include private businesses in their games, I'm guessing that is a different matter. Seeing as how we don't really know this aspect of game development, all we can do is give our best guess/opinion.
  16. True about Fallout (and other games such as Assassin's Creed). Perhaps those companies sought "permission" from those entities before replicating them. I'm not about to dig into that level of research
  17. Using the fly cheat, I suppose you could quickly scout the moose spawn areas in each zone to confirm this. Once you find a moose, you would also want to return to that area to confirm it had not de-spawned while you were flying around checking other spawns. I would think that "only a single moose can exist on GBI at a time" is false though. Just think, if you didn't know where that ONE moose was, until he de-spawned, you would NEVER find another moose!
  18. I agree. I'm sure HL was inspired by many things when creating GBI, but if for nothing else, likely made it a fictional place. Perhaps there could be trademark/permission issues if you exactly replicate something IRL. For this reason alone, I personally, would make it fictional.
  19. Making me want to tear out some shrubs and replace them with Dog Rose - so I can make Rose Hip Tea. The rose petals are actually really good for you too.
  20. I agree, once we know how to avoid/deal with it, it will just become ingrained in us, just like all the other afflictions.
