  1. The tool belt you get for buried echoes is COMPLETELY UNDERWHELMING. And it's yet ANOTHER ACCESSORY that will probably never be used. I really thought the belt was going to allow you to craft work bench recipes without a work bench, it would take damage as you craft things, but it would be repairable. Love the new area, love the story, love the insulated flask and travois. But the belt? I don't like it, maybe it'll grow on me, but first impressions is not great. What do y'all think of it?
  2. Cool! A hidden tram line that connects, let's say the Zone Of Contamination to Desolation Point Or Ash Canyon to Bleak Inlet. Hushed River Valley to The Transfer Pass. What a nifty idea!
  3. I wonder if ther can be variant clothing items in the game. For example, the expedition parka variant could be Mac's jacket from story mode, but better. Something of that sort. Or a white haired rabbit skinned hat? The trappers boots? Mathis's jacket? Just a thought, may it inspire others
  4. So it's coming. A trader to... well... trade with. AMAZING! I hope that it changes positions. Every week, a refresh and restock of certain and limited items, but also changes where he/she is located. He will appear in only one place in every region, but reaching him May not always be in the cards. Maybe he sells the item variants that are in game so if you can't locate a certain variant item, you can trade for it. Maybe he can sell map pieces that will unlock a portion of a specific region, for example, a mystery lake map fragment for 10 cured rabbit hides. Bullets? Guns? Pre-made stews and meals? Clothing? The sky is the limit.
  5. There's a whole tab for can recipes, yet there isn't a single one in the game. It would be awesome to cook up broth or soups in it, and since it's smaller it would create a 'small soup portion' that takes less overall ingredients to make. Same with broth, less ingredients, but also only 1 portion. Also, this should make cans lose durability. What else could be cooked in a can?
  6. @ajb1978 @UpUpAway95 You guys are so hung up on this split between the game modes, but really are they different? It's really the same map, same wolf's, same bears, same needs. I understand there's layers here, but there's no way it's impossible. And also so what if they're split? I don't see why it can't be done, in fact, I'm sure it could be done. This is also a wish wall, okay? So take it easy killers. Coming in hot like "NO, THIS CAN'T BE DONE, EVER! F*** YOU!" Dayum (that was a joke) Bet if they had the funding... But yeah, here's hoping it happens
  7. So they are actually adding base customisation to the game, here's hoping it's intricate enough to change everything! (DLC) As for lamp oil and arrows, they have to be separated because they all have their own durability (100% durability arrows will stack tho). Binocs, or a scope to put on the rifle. But I could take it or leave it. No indicators will ever be on the map, hinterland is firm on the whole being lost is apart of the experience, and I'd agree, its rewarding to learn how it all connects. Pelts breaking down into leather is another thing i could take or leave, I tend not to use leather a lot anyway. Enjoy the story mode! Chapter 3 is my favorite
  8. Is it me, or does it seems that it's REALLY fragile? I think a regular bedroll last longer! Feels bad man. Not asking for a change or buff at all, but would like to hear some general opinions about it.
  9. @ajb1978 If they did add it, you would get to explore it, BECAUSE THEY ADDED IT. They would fix the unfinished part and whatever else needed to be fixed, What are you smoking? Besides, I was more so talking about the dlc items. (Like the cooking items in frontier comforts) There's no reason to go to the airfield in story mode. Also story mode items need to be added to survival, but I made that thread already.
  10. @hozz1235 Then you would not have the items in either mode that was a dumb question. @UpUpAway95 Can you really have one mode and not have the other? I have never seen an option to just buy the story or just buy the survival mode.
  11. The metal shard, homemade soup (from grey mother), Mac's jacket. These items and more should be in survival. Just a thought, May it inspire other thoughts.
  12. DLC items in story mode? If you never played the story mode, DO IT! You're really doing this game a disservice if you never have. Episode 3 is my favorite! Episode 4 is great too.
  13. The cougar is coming, so at least one new animal. Not to mention toxic wolves. But these are all great ideas!
  14. So, I could be wrong, but flour is needed for a lot of recipes, and I'm sure there's a finite amount of it (same with oil too). Sometimes, I can't find any! Thems the breaks though. Maybe acorn grounds could be used as a substitute for flour like they do for acorn pancakes, but for all recipes? Acorns are finite too and do not respawn (Maybe acorns should respawn? Also acorn coffee buff maybe? Feels bad to go through all that work and get a crap cup of coffee But a crap cup is better than no cup, for sure). And for oil, how about normal fish give lantern oil, but the rare fish variants give a couple teaspoons of cooking oil? Also bannocks use a lot of flour for such little payout, would love some opinions on that. Pancakes are the best! But needs syrup... Maybe a tap to put on oak trees only so they can accumulate syrup over, say 7-14 days. Just some thoughts, May they inspire other thoughts.
  15. @UpUpAway95 You say you have no objection, yet here you are, trying to pick it apart. So keep that lie to yourself. And...you mentioned realism, when this game IS NOT REAL, it even tells you that. Also, how is catching to many Ptarmagans "OP"? First of all, if I wanna hunt down all the birds, rabbits, or whatever, I will. Second, their feathers are for two niche items (insulation and bedroll), both items of which, personally I rarely use as just better items are available for the two accessory slots ( Also third accessory slot!. And make downs be able to be broken down into feathers for arrows) Third, their meat is the same as rabbit really. You can make broth with it granted you have ALL the items needed for it. Maybe I'm missing something, but I fail to see how its game breaking.
