Running back to the Lonely Lighthouse at dusk. Why the rush? I was outside, unarmed, and — if you look hard enough — you'll notice than an aurora is starting to set in. It had never happened this early to me before...

Thank you! I love the lighthouse too. I don't care if some say it's impractical — it's one of my favourite places to set base.

Playing my long game (now up to 540 days) and my guy's back in CH. I'm here to try and complete the map as I'm going to try and get Faithful Cartographer with him, and while I was creeping about going for complete map coverage I made my way to this spot up over the bridge halfway down the map. Nice spot.

This is the bridge over log sort correct, if it is did you come across a glitched portion on the cliff where about you are currently standing in the photo?

One thing I'm enjoying about the recent updates to The Long Dark is that, finally, building interiors are… less dark when outside the weather is fine and there's plenty of light. I had never been able to see this clearly inside the Carter Hydro Dam:

Also, a note to Mac users: If you, like me, have the F10 key normally assigned to perform a specific function on your Mac system-wide (in my case it's "Show application windows"), you may have noticed that the F10 key shortcut to capture high-resolution, no-HUD images in The Long Dark will not work. Until now, I had resorted to just use the standard Mac shortcut Command-Shift-3, but that resulted in a lower-resolution capture that included the HUD. And since the F10 key binding is locked in The Long Dark, you couldn't edit it to have a different key shortcut.

After a bit of trial-and-error, the other day I found out that if you press Alt-F10, you will be able to take high-res, no-HUD screenshots, like the one I posted above. Apologies if you had already figured this out or if this was already posted elsewhere. But if you didn't know, I hope it helps.

Nope, no glitch, just mountain goating my way around to try and make sure I get rid of All Of The Black on the map.
