Started a second survival run. Female character this time. Started, again, in Broken Railroad.

Again, very little useful clothing. But thanks to favourable weather, and sheer luck in choosing when to move onward, I made it to Junker's Paddock travelling this lightweight! I immediately started a fire to celebrate -- and warm up!

I found a lot of those broken rope models around great bear after the update. Reported it as a bug.
You can remove the rope and reinstall it, it will still look the same.

odd yes, but it's kinda cool though.  I figured maybe that's what it would look like if you had two ropes deployed?

That's just how top-rope climbing works. You secure yourself in one end and your buddy holds you with the other in case you fall. I suspect they just wanted it too look more realistic and less silly? The alternative is only before you had the chance to anchor the rope at the top, where you simply secure yourself as you go but risk falling a few meters if you slip before setting the next one. Although I will admit it might look like a bug if you aren't familiar with climbing

Been recording my most recent TFTFT run for an online friend, waaaay too many to post here, but this run's more nomadic playstyle gave me a lot more time outdoors. 

Started a ~50+ day preparatory pilgrimage across Eastern Great Bear stockpiling my ideal kit before heading to TFT, then eventually returning to go for a gunsmithing level-maxing run and then up to HRV for a (failed) search for the Woodwright's bow. Now I plan to make this my great big achievement hunter save, and see just how far I can go.
