  1. Remember that if the rabbit is already fully eaten by the wolf, you don't put it in your inventory : it just disappears. If it was a young or skinny bunny, it can be very fast, and you don't see the difference until you open your inventory and see for yourself that definitely you didn't get that bunny.
  2. Yup, they could, after all they do just that for wires & fuses...
  3. As said before, don't forget transmitters cover more than just the region they're in : I'm gonna have a hunt in Crumbling Highway too
  4. Oh but they have an effect, @hozz1235 : they let you search for hidden caches found with the yellow signal in these regions !
  5. Actually, car batteries are a real issue... you will have to haul one from the closest place you know ! And if you scavenged them all, then it's time to launch a new game (or "cheat" one in). My actual game had me fully ready long before the 2nd tale update. I already used both ammo bench, so cars are basically devoid of batteries !!! I know for sure that my last car batteries are situated in one of 3 places : hopefully Long Bridge's cars I didn't loot in BI (got trapped by a roaming bear on the eastern side and a pack of T-Wolves on the western side and had to escape swiftly), Milton's cars (almost where I started), and I keep one in the Maintenance Shed in BRR (just in case). BlackRock's and Desolation Point's transmitters are awfully far...
  6. The thing is you want to travel and explore easily, so you have to lower the predators (voyageur-like or at least loper, but not stalker) and may-be their agressivity (again voyageur-like or even pilgrim) as well as their respawn rate (pilgrim to have some game to hunt). Not too much loot, so the stalker base is fine : you'll get your share of everything. As proposed several times, you can lower the loot to loper as far as containers are concerned without too much impact, just to keep things a bit challenging. I guess letting all the other aspects as stalker or loper will do just fine, you sure can play with the weather, but basically you're all set for your personal realistic difficulty
  7. Actually, I fell in the same "hole" and managed to get back up on the tree by staying crouched and circling around back to the left of your picture (going first right, under the tree, then back up on the left side). After seeing that reply down 👇, I try and rephrase it... I admit it's particularly not understandable So you fell between a fallen tree and a cliff, but if you crouch, you can go forward a few steps, pass under the tree-bridge to the left of it, and climb up the slight slope back to the start of the tree-bridge. There you can once again climb on the tree and bridge the gap. Any better ?
  8. that's what I saw... it might need a few extra tests, so don't take it for granted ! At the very least, it has a slight effect on their morale, that's for sure.
  9. Pure random, you're having quite a strike of bad luck... For me, Milton's (food & clothings), BI's (tools and food), and FM's (hunting and medics) were stocked, and I didn't even visit CH's, DP's, BlackRock's, TWM's or AC's. The only empty one I visited was PV's, I had quite some luck ^^
  10. On a side note, fire hardened arrows work to scare timberwolves : the slight wound makes them retreat for a bit AND it makes them bleed ! Ok, it's very slow, but it works...
  11. I didn't until halfway down the slope... and I went into the general direction... What I meant is this : it's written everywhere that blue signals travel across regions, but I didn't get any sound nor any visual indication that Beta Bunker was around until I was halfway down. I started to mess around, and staying high led me to believe what I wrote earlier. May-be I'm wrong, but may-be I'm not : some of us didn't get any hint before moving away from the PV transmitter. Same goes for the Omega Bunker : in the Hangar you don't get the signal but just up the rope to Justy's Hovel, you get it.
  12. Lucky me, the only region where I didn't touch any battery was my last region, the one we mostly love to hate : Bleak Inlet... Had to haul a battery from there to PV, what a trek !
  13. This reminds all of us to keep track of wires and fuses we left behind I sure hope this doesn't include hauling a battery to TWM
  14. Hi all, I wanted to say thanks for the Part 2, I just love it, the lore, the "quest" and the signal bunkers which give an awesome longevity in some regions. I also wanted to point out something I've been through to help my fellow survivors out there : Blue signals appear only if you're more or less at the same altitude as the Signal Bunkers, whereas yellow signals don't seem to care about it. This is based on my experience and on the fact that so many of you didn't get the Omega Bunker Signal when in the Hangar but got it when entering the region. So, I made a few tries during auroras, particularly in PV while goating down Signal Hill... If my theory is correct, it explains why you don't get the blue signal in PV when you switch on the transmitter on Signal Hill, it also explains why you don't get any blue signal if you're standing in Peak Cave or Valley Cave in HRV, or at the Summit by Ravine's End in BI (yes, I entered BI there) during an aurora. And, finally, it also explains why you get the blue signal at the FA region entrance but not by the lake for instance... I know you usually don't respond here, and I don't have a clue if it's intentional or not, but you might want to look into it if it wasn't your intent @Admin Anyone else felt like me ?
  15. You're correct : FC is about all regions except BlackRock and the new places introduced by TFTFT
  16. I'm pretty sure the yellow shortwave signal doesn't lead to crashed planes. Instead, it leads to the new caches introduced with part2 of TFTFT that look like some time capsules. Wether it fell down from a plane or not is not really relevant even though I truly think it's quite a good idea. My point is : once you've looted the capsule, the signal ends, even if you've not touched the plane at all. So, for me, the yellow signal leads only to capsules. By the way, I really love the DLC so far
  17. I'd like to modify your specifications : those non-SV hatches are not always close to a bear spawn BUT if it's not the case then you have to pass by a bear spawn! HRV might be the exception to this point as... In MT, you have to pass in front of its den, but the hatch direct surroundings are very safe
  18. I remember when I found that during one of my early days in FA, it was the last cabin I visited... afterwards I felt compelled to go back to the 2 other cabins and look for some more loose planks or boards just because of the last bit of loot
  19. Look for the blue signal emitters during an aurora after you switch on a transmitter, the cache will most probably have everything you need for the next one
