    ski's

Yup, a skier would need to take a VERY steep route to achieve this.
  3. I got some wild boar for Christmas I'm anxious to try.
  4. It would have to be scalable. We can exert ourselves (heating up) without sweating.
  5. It's possible the earthquakes would have damaged the tramline. How about a boat we could row? Do some fishing from it?

    ski's

Add an achievement - Ski from the top of TWM to Mountaineer's Hut in less than 5 minutes!
  7. I know we've heard this before and it won't happen due to Raph's vision of the TLD, but wouldn't it be great to have a Custom setting for PD? Suits all players, IMO. After all, there was a conscious decision made to not have PD in Wintermute.
  8. I've always used BRR for Broken RailRoad and BR for BlackRock, although I think I'm in the minority.
  9. Surreeee...blame it on the controller
  10. At the end of episode 3, Astrid is in CH. It looks like she is walking on the road towards DP? We also know that Astrid washes up on a shore in a boat so we know PM needs to be on a coast. Seems like CH/DP is on the opposite end of the island from the Far Territories? I'm guessing PM will be in a new zone near DP.
  11. I agree 100%, which is why I said, "For some players".
  12. This thread, I believe, helps to highlight some of the disadvantages of perma-death (PD). IMHO, a game should be something fun, which you enjoy and want to play more of. For some players, PD inhibits this. I'll give my father as an example. He's in his upper 70s and I've been trying really hard to get him into TLD. He's been playing more recently, and has died a couple times. He gets pretty upset at losing his progress (in particular getting some good clothes) and I try to encourage him and emphasize this is a game of "learning". Not sure how many more times I can convince him of this before he stops playing.
  13. Does the same occur with other animal types? @Admin Can you confirm this bear hide decay is intended?
  14. Agreed it does look odd when they're put together; although, tbh, I don't mind the old textures...guess for nostalgia reasons.
  15. It's been said it has happened with the Woodwright's Bow as well.
  16. Should be found (if I recall) on the upper rope-attach rock.
  17. The boots help with walking in the toxic sludge, and the respirator helps with the fumes, but the rest? How would we know?
