  6. I don't think this would work. #1 - it would look weird having cliffs everywhere to discourage players from entering an area, #2 - I can imagine many people falling off and dying and complaining (like what happened in the FA - ZoC transition cave before they patched it).
  7. I don't see any purpose they serve. Get rid of them and make invisible walls.
  8. I think many of these issues/complaints would be resolved with some more accessory slots (as has been suggested many times).

  10. They can, but if you squat out on one of the smaller branches, they haven't reached me there (if the tree is far enough from the ground).
  11. I'm actually reluctant to hunt from fishing shacks because I've had wildlife attack me inside them (although the one near the bear den in CH is reliable). I've always been a rock/cliff or downed tree sniper ;)
  12. He was on the other side of the rock. Had the perfect shot from the rock overlook.
  13. Very nice! I just had memorable shot as well - Pensive Pond moose. My Loper run. I was collecting cat-tails and heard the distinctive moose grunt. I immediately began running the opposite direction. Whew - he wasn't chasing! I managed to crawl up on a nice sniping rock (one which I could drop down to an inaccessible spot if he charged) just above him. Pulled out the bow, took a deep breath, drew, released. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the "grrrrlllllrrrrllll" sound as he dropped. I typically don't bother with moose on my loper run, but that was just too convenient to pass up!

  15. My accuracy seems to be the same as it has always been.
  16. Lately, when repairing or sharpening something, it doesn't show the current % (condition) of the item I'm repairing. Could of swore it used to? This hammer is at 69%
  17. Welcome to the forums! Sounds like you just got REALLY unlucky with the 1%. Just goes to show, you are taking a risk by eating that meat.
  18. You'll find many posts on challenges people come up with. Personally, I don't start a game with this in mind, but instead have goals along the way. I did try a challenge one time I like to call "Naturalist" - Can only eat non-manmade food, wear crafted clothing and use crafted tools. Ofc, there are some exceptions (e.g. fire starting).
  19. The only reason I could think why subtitles would be censored and audio not is: perhaps HL is considering people who play TLD on consoles or project their PC to their TV, wear headphones, but have kids around who can see the language but not hear it?
  20. I made a post some time ago on Frontier cooking recipes. It seems the most common reason FOR making the items was the weight reduction of the finished product. As for socks n' hoodies cloth - I'm guessing it's just a gameplay balance decision.
