Same. I then also spray-paint "forks" in the cave tunnels to show me which path leads to which entrance. Makes navigation a cinch!

My longest run (pre-DLC) was 1900+ days. My new run is going on 300. I'm to the point now when I'm scouring every inch of every zone looking for missed loot and gathering ALL harvestable resources (Cattails, rosehips, scrub-brush, etc.). The "farthest reaches" zones, I'm also breaking down everything so I essentially never need to go back. Also redoing buffer memories (yuck) when an aurora pops. At some point, I will also have to redo all the cairns. I am doing them as I see them, but cairns are not my focus at this point.

If enough time has passed for him to bleed out, I'm usually pretty confident; otherwise, I may crouch-approach and look and listen for breath. Could always take a rifle pop-shot from a good, safe distance.

@peteloud, I'm glad you've enjoyed some of the work I've done. We would love to hear more ideas from the community. My patience and artistic form does not compare to @piddy3825!

I really like your thoughts and ideas! Expanding upon it further, perhaps make levelling up skills more difficult. For example, from level 4-5 mending, you will only receive a skill point when mending a more "valuable/difficult" item. Same for cooking..maybe only bear and moose meat gives a point.

Yeah, that roadmap is really just a list of features that will be added by the end of whole DLC. I do wish that could include some rough timelines with targeted content in those releases. *shrug*, I really am looking forward to Part 2!!!

Unless this is specific to loper, I doubt this is true. I've had animals run half way across the zone before dying (without me following them). I just listen for the crows.
