StrayCat
Hello all, I'm trying to find IRL items that inspired or look very close to items and clothing in the game. Click on the links for pictures. Please help me in this quest to gather TLD items in real life !! RANDOM ITEMS FIRESTRIKERTLD IRL : Aurora 440C CUP OF COFFEETLD IRL : this one's not hard : official mug CLOTHES INSULATED BOOTSTLD IRL : Sorel Caribou (women version has the closest color, men version is a bit darker) EXPEDITION PARKATLD IRL : It looks a bit like the Mountain Hardware- Absolute zero, but they're not exactly the same (the red part and the fur are missing). The coton toque is easy to find, but I have a hard time finding the wool toque. If it even exists... Help me continue this list !

odium
i have one of these Estwing prybars at home that always reminds me of TLD https://www.lowes.com/pd/Estwing-15-in-Steel-Wrecking-Bar/1000398257?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-tol-_-google-_-lia-_--_-hammersprybarsandcoldchisels-_-1000398257-_-0&store_code=426&placeholder=null&gclid=Cj0KCQiAhojzBRC3ARIsAGtNtHXmvnImEE4t_1eKx8P4b3vhFFri82jrmgmD7efyTpIVQvnWFenWa0caAv-EEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

ajb1978
If anyone can find a storm lantern matching the one in the game, let me know. I can find kerosene lanterns that use a mantle, and can have an optional flint/steel mechanical striker attached to them. But lanterns with a mantle have the mantles hanging from above--the storm lanterns in the game clearly have an open flame burning from below, as you would see with a conventional wick-based lantern. I've never seen a wick-based lantern that feature a mechanical striker.

I'm pretty sure the storm lantern is a hybrid made from both, the best of both worlds, so to speak, but doesn't actually exist in real life. killDCat
Saw a radio in a thrift shop the other week, looked exactly like the one in the TLD. Regret not picking it up now. It was the same colour, shape and size, and even gave it the obligatory click on/off to see if it would work!

Much like what @jeffpeng said, I think its a bit of a hybrid and a true analogue doesn't quite exist but ... this one looks really similar. If I was to pick one for cosplay, it'd be this https://www.petromax.de/en/px-produkte/petromax-hk500-electro-hanging-lamp/

Ice Hole
Here is my old Hacksaw. This has been around for at least thirty years. Condition is 35 percent. This Meatsaw was passed down to me from my grandfather. Condition is 88 percent. The Long Dark is screaming for the Meatsaw to be added. With carcass quartering enabled.
