  1. the current revolver in the game is a double action, and therefore cocking the hammer is not required... as for dual wielding, I cant think of a single case where that would be even remotely necessary
  2. not sure if you are on xbox or PS but you should be able to turn off auto updates to keep that from happening
  3. still waiting for the first drop... my interactions here mostly consist now of "mark site read" to keep everything a surprise
  4. yes spoiler in the title please.. I'm trying to avoid youtube and everything else at this point till we get to play it ourselves
  5. I may be in the minority and looking forward to a trading / barter system mechanic... the way I see it Hinterland has crafted a well thought out, remarkable game... I see no reason to doubt them now
  6. If memory serves me correctly... I found one in DP at Hibernia processing.... it was under a bed
  7. there is a big difference to committing to the deadline proposed by your customer.... to one that you set yourself
  8. Can't wait to dive in... great work by all involved !! afterthought... I really hope the loot tables are completely randomized.. it would certainly make Interloper way more interesting and not completely predictable
  9. already plenty informed, research is a thing with me...thanks bud
  10. first of all... handguns are quite prevalent in Canada, and those of us that do have them legally have used them responsibly.. the "new law" does nothing but punish law abiding citizens and will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, zero, zip, nada to stem crime and violence in Canada. Secondly the new law allows people who currently have handguns... to keep them... thirdly...if you have one, or ever used one, a shotgun is a messy bit of business and would serve only as a deterrent the same as the current revolver... unless you enjoy spending hours picking shot to try and salvage meat sorry for the rant
  11. misused phrases could be fun... I mean worst case Ontario... we get a few laughs
  12. I, personally, don't honestly think an expanded autosave system benefits anyone or needs any change at all... all the ways you can save now should be ample enough
  13. from memory....been a while... shirts, sweaters, toques, mugs, Long dark art posters... there was a limited edition axe/hatchet at one time, but I am more of a trade axe / tomahawk kinda guy
  14. I too enjoy Wintermute, but let's be honest survival is where this game shines... and if DLC can be had to improve on the survival experience I definitely want it first.
  15. I really like this idea... long have saplings needed a further use and another use for skins doesn't hurt. In addition, smaller is better as mentioned above as its easier to heat a smaller space... in addition to the saplings and skins best throw in some gut as well for tying it all together
  16. honestly....just take my money now... there is no gaming experience like Great Bear in winter hell I would pay just to be able to hang stuff up like in the rail car pic. (console)
  17. also a three handgun Canadian... but realistically for all the reasons listed above, the last thing the game needs is another firearm
  18. I really didn't enjoy stranded deep... it was interesting enough but just kinda hollow on content and well story for that matter... has anyone tried Green Hell ? I want to give that a go as it is apparently quite brutal... I have heard
  19. I would love multiplayer coop but the biggest hinderance to implementing it that I forsee is any mechanic which advances time...be it cooking, crafting, mending or sleeping... both players would either have to advance in time... or.... the advance mechanic would have to be removed altogether... or a system setup where if a player was to do a time advance mechanic the other player would receive an onscreen prompt to make a button press to allow the mechanic.
  20. most of us Canadians are put on colostomy bags at a very early age.. after consumption of mass quantities of ketchup chips, maple syrup, poutine and double doubles
