I hope they've listened to fans who've been playing since early access...who don't want its whereabouts spoiled. Who want a return to having to find new things themselves. Back to when you had to find a region before you could later spawn there. Please, Hinterland, don't tell us where the transition to the Travel Zone(s) is/are. Let us find them.

Nor did I say you were. I was just pointing out that on my map at least...none of the regions are shown...just arrows pointing in their general direction.

I mean if you look at my map...I have the CH rail tunnel open...this leads to the massive Travel Zones...and then the Hub Region...and the 3 regions are off that...but not even on the map. Why? Because I think the Region Selection Map will be two pages- and we'll have to scroll up and down to see the whole thing- (But it will always be sideways...with North to the right).

We're not saying the connection to the Hub region is in CH or BR or cleared through the landslide in HRV even. However the Transition to the expansive travel areas has to be. Otherwise the two would be entirely separate...and you couldn't transition between both the DLC areas and the current playable sandbox. So the entrance/transition to the long and treacherous journey- through the travel zones- has to be in a current region.

That is still my choice as well. Thanks again to Kai from the Long Development for making a version of his TLD map for me to use.

I have also found fresh leather in my travels. Also there is nothing less immersive that finding 99 condition cooked venison in a freezer.

I feel it could be either in BR...or CH. I think this long hard journey is referring to the two large Travel Zones...and Hub Region to even get to Forsaken Airfield. I would have a good chuckle if they opened up "End of The Road" at the other end of the road leading through P.V.

Can't wait to read more...it's been great so far! I finished all of my recordings...now comes the very long process of editing episodes...then recording v.o. dialogue....and re-saving each video and then uploading them. Since I have to do this around a job...and a wonderful wife who doesn't let me record live commentary (I understand) finishing an uploading a huge series like this takes a long time.

Indeed. Because of this I am putting a disclaimer in front of each episode...which warns of any issues I had. Footage that got corrupted...missing in game sound etc. So people can skip episodes if they want. First couple of episodes will be up tomorrow with commentary- that's the plan at least.

I actually play without having my ear buds in...or headphones on...it adds to the challenge. Sometimes though for unknown reasons the laptop thinks I have nothing connected while I do...and yet still doesn't play out my speakers. So it's unintentional.

I've been taking this time to play and complete my Halloween User Created Challenge. I finished this morning. It's a good time to play challenges of any variety.

Of course, I took no offense. I can honestly state I hate it taking me so long to upload. If the sound was working of the first 6 odd episodes (which w/o commentary would otherwise be silent)...I would edit and upload them right away.

Was there already an active Ward Glyph in the region? I ask this because there can only be one of each glyph active at a time in a region. IF the answer is no then the Ward should've stopped him from coming any closer than 200m. Also the Ward is only active if you are near it...so if you run away from it it will stop...and it's time left counter will disappear from your screen.

Yes I have work...and I can only record commentary/voice over when my wife isn't at home because it bugs her....so...eventually. Also I was going through some of my videos...and for some reason I was having the not picking up sound issue. So on clips that form up those episodes it's a must taht I have a commentary/voice over.

For the record I tweeted Hinterland, Raphael and IntoTheLongDark- In that tweet I kindly asked for 3 things. 1: Don't spoil or tell us where travel zone connects in the video or anywhere else. (Let us find it like we used to have to!) 2: Have it so we have to find it to unlock it on the Region Select (Like we used to) So I beg them again here...please let it be mysterious...please let us find it...please don't let it be part of region select until we ourselves find the travel zone.

I have completed the challenge! Wow that was intense at the end there! Tomorrow I have to Type up one more note...and perhaps just have a bit of fun with a goofy ending....but other than that it's Editing and then doing V.O. work for each episode. Eventually I'll upload them to my Youtube Channel and link it here.

It was a long process. I always had things set up to keep me signed in...and then one day I came back...and weeelllllll no bueno. So after much Hinterland Twittering...I started a new account...and just the other day they merged me back into my old account. It feels much better. But I've always been around reading...so I've not missed much.

It is nice to really be back. I do use the other name elsewhere but this name has more personal significance.

Where on steam exactly...I'm looking all over for it. Also it looks awesome! Just found it.

Interesting...I saw that animal as another wolf....and equated it with the wolves in the screenshot. That said...there's no reason to think we'll just be getting one new animal in the DLC...why not both?

It's nice to be posting as myself again. You fine Admins have been talking to me first over Twitter...and here when I started another account to recover this one. It's really nice to have my old account and user name back. Thanks very much!
