Finally back to the game, now that my new rig is here, updated and set up. On my toaster, i thought the game was gorgeous. On my new rig, getting ~300fps on all Ultra (except SSAO turned off...), OMG. The game is even more gorgeous, and I didn't think that was possible. So happy to back t playing again, and the game showed me some love. With lovely scenery, and with not having Old Grumpy Bear rip my face off on Day 1, lol. Enjoy. I did. :)

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.  Pancake breakfast in the next room. :)

Sure, just go ahead and light a fire next to an LP tank.  There's no way that can end badly.

Looks surprisingly normal if you don't think about it.  When I came walking up to the station, it just crossed my mind, that this is what the area would have normally looked like back in the days before the collapse.  ...mostly

Lol! Clear enough, and clearer than any I might take while I am getting ready to die.  And yes, Aurora Bears are absolutely terrifying.

Outstanding!  just how close were you?  were you getting mauled in these shots?  absolutely terrifying, those glowing eyes are going to give me nightmares!

The fact that I can't grab the coal in the MT/HRV transition cave on the Milton side is unnecessarily aggravating...just saying...  @Admin could this perhaps be forwarded on as a...sort of...I dunno half wish-list half bug, to the necessary parties?  My sanity would appreciate it!

Lol! You don't get to see the bear's face or eyes that close up unless you are being mauled. Thought being mauled by a regular bear during the day was traumatic? Go poke an Aurora Bear and see this up close and personal, just once. Just for the experience. it is rather unforgettable. Not much phases me in video games, but after my first mauling by an Aurora bear, I did, for real, have some difficulty sleeping that night without it playing over and over in the dark corners of my mind. Nightmares, indeed.

I was being mauled, which is why they aren't particularly clear shots.   I just wish I'd been able to get a shot of the bear before it started mauling me.  They glow like wolves but run much, much faster.
