My constant companion- The Fog. The game's RNG seems to love trolling me with heavy fog in wolf-heavy areas.  I can hear a wolf howling nearby, but can't see anything, and the fog gets heavier and heavier as I creep toward Grey Ma's house.

Not sure why I decided to punish myself by spawning into Transfer Pass at the start of a new Stalker run. But I did.

I am sure I will regret it later, but Day 1 was a beautiful and extremely cold day... no regrets, but I did look back for a moment...

Considering Mukluks are my favorite boots in game, I'd visit that store very often.

*I also spent way too long trying to determine if there was a Mukluk in the fridge*

Anyway, I got 3 bear hides and 4 rabbit pelts in change, is that enough for one?

That's all I got on me right now, been difficult to get more since the AHMs went out...

The only way to travel through wolf country when you are not well armed, and a wee bit encumbered...

And once again, I decide to be foolish and spawn into FA, with no preparation.

Made it to Junker's with only high Hypothermia risk, not much loot in the cave on the way, not much in the trucks and cars along the way- lots of coal and sticks, and not much else. First night spent at Junker's, too cold to go on- lantern found, both attempts to repair failed, of course. Woke up to an Aurora, so I'll try to repair some clothing- I have very little, and it's not in great shape.

Tomorrow is another day.

Day 2 in Forsaken Airfield. Janelle woke up to a blizzard- of course. Cold, not much clothing found and only enough cloth to repair a pair of ragged wool mittens. Can't go far in this blizzard, so out in the snow to gather acorns, back in to shell them, back out to gather more. The blizzard finally broke for a few hours, so a relatively sheltered campfire was made, and 1 1/2 gallons of water made and some acorns cooked before a new blizzard came in and blew the fire down.

Found a wool toque I had missed the day before- 98% frozen, but in decent condition otherwise. 1 piece of fabric left after harvesting a pair of worn fleece mittens. Successful repair done. A little warmer now, but the blizzard was still raging. Slept in short shifts- as long as there is no Aurora- Janelle is off to the Hangar as soon as the blizzard lets up. Made it- not much found along the way, had to save the 2 flares she had and the little bit of lantern oil I knew I would need to get her to the basement and the forge furnace to get warmed up again. A few close calls along the way, but no wolf heads had to be bashed with her heavy hammer. And of course, another blizzard started up just as she got to the hangar door, and the temp dropped like a rock. (Probably should have skipped looting the car- it was basically empty anyway, lol.) The forge furnace looks really nice and cozy.

Tomorrow is another day.

Yes... there is a really great "sweet spot" when a fog is just starting to roll in, when any area can look positively aethereal.  Well done, that's a really good shot.

TLD, more than any other game, just has these moments that make me have to stop and admire even though I'm rapidly freezing to death.

Yeah, it's worth creating a new save file if you got good pictures in your last save.

That's also the beauty of pilgrim...   I spend so much time just watching the skies,or watching the snow falling and I stop every time my favourite piece of music comes on...  It's a truly beautiful game.

I'm assuming this is a console thing.  Do Xbox players lose all their screenshots if they lose the save during which the screenshot was taken?
