JAFO
Archery (and sewing) books are something I recently suggested to the devs.. we have skill books for everything else, why not those as well? 8 minutes ago, piddy3825 said: regardless, check out that shot! Must admit I was impressed by the headshot.. showed it to my workmate when I first saw it.. (he plays TLD too)
piddy3825
@JAFO, ya know your comment about that archery skill book, kinda made we wonder if I was loosing my mind about having read an archery skill book in game. In this case, I do believe we are both right.. there is no actual archery skill book, but there is an Survive the Outdoors book that adds skill points to archery. I probably should have phrased that better...

I wouldn't say you were losing your mind, though.. you just had a brief moment of inattention. Anyhow, enough OT talk.. back to screenshots. Here's a couple of my favourite base in the game First, a nice Xmas Card style shot: And one I call "Home at last". Sorry it comes out so dark.. click on it and you'll see there's more detail than meets the eye.

Supermax
This is me on my personal record playthrough, right before jumping off the cliff to end it all. The lit up fishing hut in the distance is where I spent most of my time while living in ML.

Crimson Foxx
Soooo cold outside. Do i stay by the fire and stay warm but risk starving to death or do i venture out into the blizzard and possible doom but with hope of finding food? hmmmmm..
Crimson Foxx
Most of the time you expect to see corpses. Lifeless broken bodies frozen in time and victims of this cold world. You search their pockets for anything to help you keep going and then you move on, quickly dismissing them. But sometimes you have a moment of pause and sadness washes over you. You see a poor wretched soul who just like you wanted to make it through this nightmare and dared to venture into unsafe territory in hope of that life saving snack or rare rifle round. I found this poor woman inside a mine. She must have disturbed a weak wall and it collapsed on her likely knocking her unconscious and leaving her to fade away from fatal wounds. That could have been me.

Crimson Foxx
Here is a funny pic. Ok so this is how it went. I was carrying way too much that i could not move faster than walking. I had no ammunition , only a knife. i am on Stalker mode. I am walking into the Coastal Village when a wolf sees me. I move directly for a car, hoping to jump in before the wolf sprints to get me., Just as i open the door to escape i hear the wolf lung and that gut wrenching gurgling growl. This is how my game then froze before crashing back to desktop. Never knew i had such a beautiful arm!
Crimson Foxx
I woke up refreshed, gave a cute girly yawn and emerged out into the early morning at Desolation Point and found this welcoming sunrise.

RossBondReturns
Well after so much testing I can now get back to posting screenshots. How is it possible that with more detail I'm getting better frame rates? HInterland makes magic. Anyhow...here's a carefully framed shot approaching the Outbuildings and Shed.
