aha, think I have found the issue. disabling steam input on each games' controller settings seems to have resolved it, if anyone else has similar issues.

Hi All I think this is a Steam issue as I'm having the same problem with The Forest, but it's stopping me from playing TLD too. After the last Steam update, when I go into games that use a pc controller, the controller isn't working and the mouse icon is really glitchy and won't move past a tiny area of the screen. Keyboard buttons also not working, so I can't progress from main menus. I've found a way to select my controller as a default input, but this has made no difference. tried the usual restarts, no joy. Mouse only input games are running fine, so it's not my hardware. Has anyone else had a similar issue? I can't find any news on Steam forums, apart from some similar but different issues with things like VR and streaming controls after the update. thanks, VHK

The Worst Journey in the World: Graphic Novel I imagine this would appeal to quite a few in the TLD community. It's volume 1 of 4 planned to tell the WJITW story. I believe the author/artist has links to Vancouver- maybe HL can acquire the game rights?! I'm really hoping the bleak, treeless areas with undulating dunes, as well as the travois, could be a sign that HL are working on some sort of polar exploration project, hauling sledges to lay depots etc.

I had this problem too, I think it's similar to when the new mine entrance in PV near Thomson's Crossing wouldn't map after the ep 3 update or thereabouts. I got Mindful Cabin mapped by standing on the porch, so at same level as the cabin- if you are below it, it doesn't register, which was what was happening with the mine (and I think was eventually fixed as a bug).

Just spotted my error in the title of this post. It was of course a typo, and not my brain confusing the new region with the 'dark territory' of Under Siege 2... 😕
