Please let us adjust the volume of the radios during an aurora! The classical music is fabulous. I just can't hear it unless I crank up the Sound setting (which makes all the other sounds TOO loud). Thank you.
Prior to updating, I made a backup copy of my whole TLD folder. I haven't tried it yet, but I believe you can run the game by just executing TLD.exe from that backup location to play the prior version. If this does work, you could: 1) Time capsule to a version of your choice, 2) back that up, 3) then revert the steam version to current.
I rode dirt bikes for decades. Up until recently, they were all kick-start. Sometimes they could be stubborn to start, so we would get rolling on a hill, pull the clutch, put it into 2nd or 3rd gear (less compression) and pop the clutch to start it.
If you look hard enough, you will find quite a few art "collisions" (such as the railcar wheel). I happened to be following the road with powerlines on it in CH last night and was looking up at the lines as I walked along (which I rarely look up!). Lines passed through trees, power poles, etc. It's not a big deal, but plenty if you really look for them.
I see the Woodwright's as something to hang on the mantle. It functions exactly like the Survival Bow (weighs slightly more) but just degrades slower. It's a trophy at this point. If they make it repairable in the future, I'll use it just cuz it looks cooler
I've noticed strange sound when approaching pre-placed snow shelters. It kind of sounds like a some material falling/crunching. Anyone else notice this?
On a similar note, all pre-placed snow shelters I've discovered so far have been ruined. I don't recall them ALL being ruined?
I know this is a controversial topic so if you are opposed to backing up saves, read no further!
I have created a batch (.bat) file, that when run, copies all necessary save files to a backup folder. I will not go into further detail here since HL may not approve of this. If you're interested, please PM me.
