  1. Similarly, I found that there was a new corpse for me inside the Concentrator in the employee break room (in front of the fridge) that wasn't there before. This was after unlocking some doors in the mine.
  2. Food isn't as scarce as it seems at first. There is a bear spawn and a few deer/rabbit spawns. One bear and a buck will last you a significant amount of time. You can travois a load of meat to a cave, cook it up, and bring it out as needed...or haul it back to wherever your safehaven is. You'll obviously need to contend with the devil spawn wolves to transport it...but fending them off isn't too much of a challenge. Edit: Also, without spoiling anything, some things require the Buried Echoes quest to be advanced in order to do other things. This zone was built around the idea of you coming here after finishing Signal Void, so use that knowledge to lead you forward.
  3. The Sport Bow was down in the Mine. I can't remember the location, but it was next to a dead body and had a couple arrows next to it.
  4. These were the descriptions here, nothing more: Nourished: You feel sustained after eating a meal. Gorged: You feel weighed down after eating a meal. Edit: You were absolutely right, I forgot that I took a bite from the Breyerhouse Pie that I made. I just tested it again (as that's the only cooked item I have been carrying, and that was it!) So, to answer the question: Nourished increases Max Condition (I'm assuming) Gorged lowers Max Stamina
  5. Order of operation, in case these are a bug and shouldn't show up: Harvested a ravaged wolf for some meat Got attacked by a bear Patched bleeding and ran back to an indoor safe spot Ran down to cook the two pieces of wolf meat, ate both (which filled the meter) Drank birch bark tea Slept Cleared up an infection I forgot about from a bear attack Checked conditions and noticed this
  6. Alright, time for my impressions: Level Design is top notch; from the overworld, to the mine, and even the scale/layout of the buildings are all fantastic! Aggressive wolves who are silent when they attempt to sneak up on you is a nice touch Story is mostly good, though the ending felt a little disappointing The coughing of Will/Astrid when reading the note was of interest! As someone else pointed out, the harvested animals artwork looks great Cave mouths in the new zone, when viewed from the inside out, actually look like what is outside instead of generic rock formations I really hope this continues throughout the game because it's a very nice touch Extra Sport Bow found in the zone leads me to believe this one may not just be a single unique item like the Woodwright's Bow New Afflictions should be detailed a bit more for players
  7. Carry capacity did not change. I did check that to confirm since that's what also came to mind. I didn't attempt to actually walk around, but I'm curious if maybe it slows down movement speed, or like you said, maybe increases the amount of Stamina consumed when running.
  8. So...I noticed this tonight, and I think it's the first time I've ever seen these conditions, Gorged and Nourished. Nourished: You feel sustained after eating a meal. Gorged: You feel weighed down after eating a meal. I didn't notice anything considerably different while having these, and only stumbled across it after needing to patch up following a surprise Bear/Wolf attack outside the mine. Anyone with info?
  9. I had the same issue with the Miner's Flashlight. I believe it just never spawned anywhere else in my game, because I checked ALL the possible locations and it was nowhere to be found.
  10. ...I both love you and hate you. I have been jump scared on multiple occasions by these things...and it certainly keeps you on your toes!
  11. Great vid. Look forward to the update when I get home!
  12. It was just updated. Now showing 1:00PM EST (45 minutes away).
  13. The last update was around mid-day, but I can't remember any of the previous ones.
  14. Latest news on Part 4: https://x.com/RaphLife/status/1731938924207939654?s=20
  15. Yeah, I noticed that too. I can't recall if they moved it to released after the most recent update or the one the first one that released the rifles...
  16. The Insulated Flask is a separate item on the list. It's going to probably take the accessories slot, if I had to guess. I wouldn't be surprised if there were new variants that show up, maybe another bow, or a different type of tool.
  17. I'm 100% buying one when/if the store reopens...and I don't even drink coffee. My wife has been "playing" the game along side of me since the DLC released and she'd love that little gift!
  18. My assumption is that they are on a 3 month cadence, based on all that was said in the dev diary. With that being said, they put out details of Update 3 the a bit over a week before its release, and the video came out on the same day as release. I'm speculating that we'll probably hear something mid September for a late September release.
  19. Good morning fellow explorers from the front porch of the Mountaineer's Hut!
  20. Welp, it's official. I've researched every cave in the entire game, every passthrough and zone transition, and the flashlight is nowhere to be found. Not sure where else I should be looking at this point.
  21. So, I join the list of people here that have searched the "known" areas and not found the flashlight. Playing on Stalker. I've even went back and double checked any areas I may have moved it to should I have unknowingly picked it up and left it, but not finding it anywhere.
