If you're doing a simple 'this much ice as a proportion of total water' calculation, the maths says it would become 40% frozen.
You'd have two-thirds of a litre of ice, out of five-thirds of a litre total.
Two-thirds divided by five-thirds = two-fifths = 40%
Thanks! I've done everything else I wanted to do here, so I'm just killing time rn, which always feels wrong. Killing wolves, also, which at least feels useful.
A game in a familiar place to get used to new mechanics, UI and items. As soon as I'm confident with that stuff, next game in an unfamiliar, new area (if we can spawn straight there) and enjoy feeling lost again
Just want to say how much I've been enjoying these stories while I was lurking. Good luck to you! Or bad luck! Or whatever it is that will work for you! May you extinguish your torch every time you try to pick a cattail
How well-named are regions of Great Bear? A tier list
(Places included are those that had those nice postcard icon pictures on the wiki when I made this)
Hi everyone!
I've been lurking on the forum for a while, very happy to be joining in. You can also find me on the fb Long Dark Community group.
I've got about 800 hours all together on TLD, I play on Linux via Steam. I play Survival, and recently played through story mode ep 1-4 for the first time and did a few challenges.
I like to play a custom setting with highest possible Interloper-like scarcity, deterioration and bad weather and afflictions, but mid-level hunger and thirst, and fairly easy animals. I love exploring, foraging and making-do, but not so interested in fighting.
My longest games are around 120 days so far. When I fancy a break from my 'proper' games, I start anew in Interloper for quick games I call 'Short Darks'. My longest interloper is now about 14 days, but the first 4 or 5 are the most fun.
I find TLD to be wonderfully calming, especially the solitude, just the tinkle of the menu screen music makes me relax. And it's so beautiful; I've always been awed at the light in this game.
Happy to be here!
