New food glows during glimmer fog

Recommended Posts

Fascinating side effect, I wonder what it is... And also I'm curious how this could potentially benefit regular gameplay. The "glow" doesn't appear to illuminate the environment, it's moreso a blur effect applied to the object on the screen.

Wonder if we could have Glimmer Fog while an Aurora is in effect?  Talk about some craziness!

It has finally occured to me what this is. It's not a bug, or at least it's not random or inconsistent. The salt shaker and oil bottle are made of glass, that's all. The red and green colouration seems to glow when the object has transparent body for some reason.

I guess we didn't have any glass objects before Frontier Cooking? Magnifying lens I suppose, and lanterns have glass in them, obvs, but not much. Never noticed theier glass parts glowing.

Because of how light and its effects are generated, I'm guessing.
