What the?! Moose carcass?

Now I know I have never seen this!  Anyone else?  It was only 2% frozen as well.  The quarters were at 52% condition.

No, I've never seen anything like this... this is strange indeed.

It may be worth while to summit a ticket on the support portal.
In either case perhaps Hinterland can clarify if this is a bug or if this is a new change to interactions of the various wildlife.

thats awesome.  if its a bug id love to see it added to the game (as a very rare occurence of course)

This is a known unique feature of Hushed River Valley.

Instead of the usual deer carcass, there's a chance for a moose carcass to spawn in its location instead. The location isn't static, and is random based on map seed. Sometimes you don't get one at all, sometimes you get lucky.

The texture and the model of the carcass really look like the old textures and models of the game.You know, when everything was darker and wasn't as smooth as now.

For me, this carcass almost seem out of place.

But anyway, I love this kinda secret feature ! It's the first time I heard of it !

And that's another reasons for me to visit the dreaded HRV.

There is always a moose carcass in HRV.

What's unusual is the 2% frozen.

Hmm...I've had several playthroughs where I haven't seen one (this is the first in fact).  Perhaps I missed it, but I feel I scour the area pretty well and this would be hard to miss.

I guess it's possible that I got lucky, but I have always found a moose carcass somewhere in HRV.

Someone tell us what's what.
