  1. Oh awesome! I thought it looked like fallout game, but I never played that one. Post apocalyptic is awesome genre!šŸ‘
  2. Oh ooh! Got it, thank you. What game is your avatar? I zoomed in and see Geiger counter and what looks like post apocalyptic radioactive wasteland. Also, why sweater, but no gloves?
  3. Very strange, thank you. I never figured out these layers..
  4. I agree, but on the other hand, if you could cut a tree, then you should be able to get lots of firewood. And if you could cut that tree, then surely you could cut this trees and those two trees right there.... Convenience block per Hinterland šŸ˜‹
  5. Hatchet said no problemo, senƵr!
  6. @lee, have you tried them energy bars in real life? They don't work!šŸ˜‚ there are certain things that give energy though!!
  7. Ah, tempting, Mr.Piddy! I'll give you a shout over the party line later today, keep a line open.šŸ“ž
  8. @UTC-10, very good write up! @odizzido, well if they could at least consult with our hinterland forums engineering department, things would be a whole lot more realistic!šŸ˜ŽšŸ‘
  9. I agree with OP, it doesn't appear the water was significantly higher level than what it is now and looking at dam construction, mystery lake is the source of water that passes through the dam and gets dumped into winding river. Perhaps there is enough height difference, but the dam wall looks awful tall, a lot taller than it needs to be! Perhaps they made the wall tall enough to keep our curious noses from peeking into the other side?
  10. @alone sniper, bleak inlet has two entry points. One is through ravine and the other is through cave from furlong muskeg
  11. Speaking of spray cans! Combined with a match and you got yourself a wildlife deterrent!
  12. Well, now we need merchants in tld. Trading seven cured guts for a can of rusty tuna. Delicious!
  13. Wow, two dead and still 80% morale? You know at that point resistance is futile lol.
  14. Yeah, I love mystery lake!! Trapper cabin is maximum bomb! You have everything you need, you got stove(2x), work bench and a bed, all in uber close proximity! And deer and rabbits outside! So uber awesome! I think I want to go to mystery lake. Don't even remember where I left off. Well, there's also that lodge, but I feel that it's just too big and it's a bit messy inside. Although, it's even better than trappers in some way because you have fishing! So much food and lamp pil! But then again, coastal highway is also super awesome I guess. So much open space!
  15. Super neat! All I ever encountered was like 2-3 wolf pack. Maybe 4 max. What did you use to fight them?
  16. Mama Mia I haven't seen that many wolves all hungry at the same time ever!! Who won?
  17. That's the one I foundšŸ˜Šand definitely agreed, on pilgrim it's more of novelty than necessity. Really wish I could see all that clothes. Even while shooting weapon, it's naked hands. AhhšŸ˜«
  18. I keep finding random casings I shot like 300 days ago and an occasional arrow that got uber ride on a dying deeršŸ˜‚that does sound like a great idea! Paint feathers pink!!
  19. I like wolf coat because it looks cool in the menušŸ˜‹and super easy to maintain. Second sloth is filled by exp parka, so there goes my choice. Tried bear coat and didn't like it much, but it did save my life in ash canyon narrow passage when I got hunkered down and BOORYA(heavy snowstorm) wasn't letting up. Never tried moose jacket.
  20. Me too, maybe even on harder(slightly) difficulty. Although every time I remember carrying those lazy bums in ep3, my temptation quenches..
  21. It actually even has description in the map section when you pull up the map. That's how I knew where to find it! Found it, here's a map with description:
