  1. That's just a 2d background, not something rendered 3d in game.
  2. You dress up like game character, here's one for Lara Croft from tomb raider:
  3. That's timberwolf mountain! Looking at the foto made me realize. We don't have haze from the air. Visibility is too clear. I think it is supposed to be getting hazier the further you see. Air is not completely transparent.
  4. @piddy3825, that looks more like a torture chamber with a bed. Where are the special tools for the job?:p
  5. Yes, I guess the easiest way to go about it is the way hinterland did it. Your full weight capacity is backpack lbs. First example, bedroll and lamp are both hanging on your character and not in backpack and they still register as your backpack capacity.
  6. Yes, there is "Heavy Warhammer", which is stronger, and there is also "Heavy War Hammer", little bit less power. They're almost spelled the same, but they are different. Look for no space between "war" and "hammer". Maybe we should eliminate all this KCD talk, because TLD might get upset. ๐Ÿ˜โš”๐Ÿบ
  7. Photos are needed here. I am too lazy to Google.๐Ÿ™‚
  8. I had one about favourite episode and I had another one about I dont remember what. I think they might be both in wintemute section Edit: about favourite episode is in wi termite section About noisemakers is in survival section.
  9. To be completely honest, those pedigree canned dog food smells awesome! I can imagine it would taste pretty good on top of mashed potatos.
  10. Ah very neat, I didn't know that about inn sound! It really adds to the immersion, if you close your eyes, ita like that place has a bigger crowd than it really is. What's a morning star? Bailiffs made? Heavy warhammer is incredible lol. Closest equivalent we have in TLD is...heavy hammer? Agreed, forest and landscape overall is best I've seen in video games. Lara Croft is also fantastic. Btw, I tried rays and shadows and dlss in shadow of tomb raider and it's incredible! I get like mad fps too on everything WOW!! ultra oh my graphics settings!
  11. Ouch๐Ÿ˜ŠI sense some bitter memories from your last visit there. While HRV is gorgeous, it is very complex area and wandering around it without fandom map is quite difficult in my opinion. Another thing I never liked about that map is lack of workbench or a proper home. I get that developers wanted to make it raw nature exploration, but c'mon, at least include some half demolished clunker house somewhere. I never enjoyed living in a cave๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ
  12. I just googled, I meant dollmaker potion. It makes NPCs walk normal pace and they can't chase you. That way you can l sprint away and shoot an arrow. Also i think they become more handicapped in battle. I typically add bane potion to sword or mace and dollmaker on arrows. I also have code in console(~) "wh_pl_showfirecursor 1" -it makes that aim dot stay visible when using bow. It normally disappears. First playthrough I didn't usually do alchemy, but boy is it useful mechanic!! Also, you can keep alcohol with you as food and just brew a bunch of hair-o-dog potions to sober up. I like spirits or moonshine, gives awesome calorie boost! ...and wolf face appears!๐Ÿ˜…
  13. Bow and arrows with bane or that other potion that makes you walk slow. Also, sprinter perk helps. I dress light, so my running speed is great.๐Ÿ™‚โš”๐Ÿ™ƒ If fast travel in TLD warns you with "wolf spotted in distance", that would be great, just enough time to make a decision either press on or detour.
  14. I vote evil NPCs. Coming to your base, being ransacked and turned upside down with half the items stolen would drive me nuts! It does appear to be a plausible scenario, since the island is prowling with criminals. It would probably bring fresh breath to gameplay trying to track them down. I never bought this idea that you're the only human capable to survive with all other people dropping like flies. Realistically speaking, nlgreat bear natives would have a much higher chance of survival on their own land than a crashed pilot or a city doctor๐Ÿค” I'm boiling over again, someone turn down the stove..๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ
  15. I wouldn't take stuff from HRV, there will come a moment when you'll miss it and revisit. Itll be an overjoy when you arrive during a blizzard into your old cave and find some rusty sardines and a ragged bedroll๐Ÿ˜Š
  16. Well, like kingdom come does, it gives you a timed warning, so you can either react and take over or you can let fast travel continue. TLD can probably give you a prompt of some sort as well. Then again, I dont mind traveling. If you make fast travel an option, there's not much else to do๐Ÿ™ƒ
  17. Agreed, but wolves and bears are more plentiful in tld vs dangers in kcd. While you can hit a skirmish, an ambush and an occasional 'pilgrim' fast traveling from rattay to skalitz all on one trip, you'll most likely encounter a lot more wolves if you traveled same distance(across whole map). It might work though!๐Ÿบโš”๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ
  18. ๐Ÿ˜…that is very encouraging!
  19. Now that I think about it, my favourite thing to do is going to my different bases and cook food there. Whenever I'm in bleak inlet, I pick a bunch of firewood, kill a deer or a wolf and in the evening, start up that little stove and just cook meat one by one as the sun sets and blizzard begins to roll in.
  20. Very intriguing! I want to try it now, but mama Mia I am so far away and not sure I want to spawn there as new character lol. Thank you @Pencil!!
  21. Once you've established your base and hunkered down, what do you like to occupy yourself with? I like to go hunt some wolves and a bear. You can never have enough pelts!๐Ÿ˜
