Yeah, saw that. Kinda makes sense, since these seem to be made out of rubber, and its not a material available for crafting / repairing.

Then again, remember how the crampons were not repairable in the beginning, and it was added later. Let's see.

Yeah, I get that.  They would have to add rubber.  Perhaps obtained from existing shoes with rubber soles?

I have a custom with higher loot settings i did the whole region and found 3 pairs

Yes, found two pairs on plain Interloper.

As a matter of facts, I found everything in duplicates (helmet, jacket, pants, boots), except the respirator.

Now, If I only could find that darn Foreman's Key.

Yeah, I was getting the same feeling.

Is this true for the Mine Gate key also?
I have found 4 things that require keys, and only two keys found (non-Tales run)

From my recollection, most locks were unlocked during the Tale.  I think there was one exception...

Same here. 
 

Foreman’s key and Mine Gate key seem to be Take only.
