No Fire Run

Seemed interesting enough to try, sorry I’m not that good at writing . Torches & matches are allowed to see where I’m going, but no other fires at all for cooking or heat.

D1: Stalker, MT spawn, wood lot at dusk. Head over to prison bus & find a flare gun with 1 shot, very noice.

Doggos won’t let me through & I don’t wanna waste the shot, so let’s go to park office.


Get 2x soda and some grub.

We’re not going to ML just yet, so turn back and head back down, staying away doggos to go through the buildings for toilet water and any other loot.

Beeline through the entire town, getting 8L toilet water, 10x sodas, 2 MREs, and a bunch of other food (inc. 3x crackers, salty death food). End day at Paradise Meadow, most buildings looted, good clothes, plus a revolver & 12 bullets. Yeah, he’s gonna be saying that a lot . Slept thirsty & hungry to save calories + water.

D2: Wake up before dawn again, go to church for soda, sardines, & flare. Come back way overloaded and sleep some (eat dog food for little bit of recovery). Sleep with a soda to get some health back & go down to crash site. Take 20% cold damage breaking a crate for cargo pants before heading back. Pop a Go drink to outrun 72% hypo risk and find a cute bunny on the way back.Sleep with the sunrise, I’m a vampire! Gonna have to get FP to fix that.

Impressive that you actually have the guts to do this . I assume you’ll be crafting torches to navigate the darkness with, since you won’t be able to pull any from fires?

This is one that I've done before! Obviously, the limiting factor is water, since you no longer have an infinite supply. But it's amazing how long you can go! I spend about 30 game days (I think), and didn't even fully drink up two regions. Have fun with it!

D3:
- Almost get jumped by wolf otw to Orca. No prybar, so sleep 4h in truck, then 2h in Park Office.
- Blizzard, but no turning back now.
- Sprain everything on first goat and have to stim up rope because I only have 1 bandage.
- Sleep in cave.

D4: 
- Trappers has a MOOSE!
- The writing/rifle is on the wall… let’s do it!
- Fizz Bam, he’s dead!
- Take hide, 6 kg meat, 4 gut. Get FP and sleep 10 hrs.

D5: Cracked safe for ANOTHER flare gun & shell.Went out, harvested more meat from Mr. Moose. Also got my flare shell back .

When I'm done, FL +8, so head out to Max' Last Stand for mebbe a soda or something. Instead...1 shot 1 kill. Quarter him and take hide + guts over to Camp Office.

Loot: nice cozy sweater, soda, fuel, & canned goodies.Harvest, repair, 0.6l water, bed.

D6: Looted lake cabins, not really worth it. Did find a hatchet tho.Tomorrow up to the Lookout for memento note, get flare shells and summit through coastal for toilet water. Without coffee

Hey I'm back from vacation, time for TLD

D7: Back to Camp Office. Weather's nice, so on to the Dam!

Ran into some furry friends on the way and hipshot them. Ammo at Derailment is nice too. Didn't waste time on acorns.

Bridge to the Dam, got jumped, missed my shot, and got chewed up a bit. Also found a long wool scarf in one of the trailers, very cool!

Funnily enough,  it actually ALSO ends up being a bit similar to my Bjorn the Berserker runs: He would only wear animal hide clothing, and would only eat raw meat. No other foods except for various natural teas were allowed. Which meant that I'd generally eat once every 2-3 days, gorging myself with as much raw meat as I could fit in my stomach in a session, then trying to get as much done as  I could before needing to lose another day to sleeping through food poisoning, and then needing to sleep again to heal while I  briefly had something in my stomach to heal with. And cllecting every single Reishi mushroom I found...

So yeah, I salute your decision to just go ahead and eat your meats raw, and deal with the consequences!

D8: Made it thru Winding River and the cave all right. Slept 2h and went out, FL is ok. Wolfie and bear tried to be tricky, but I juked em and made it to Tom's Crossing. Slept in the church. Found some good loot today, I have tons of soda!

Day 9+10 is just looking for a hacksaw and vacuum cleaning PV. No luck.

It has never occurred to me to just eat the meat raw. I love this game!
