  1. Archery: 1 - Never used a bow, other than a toy bow when I was a kid. Carcass Harvesting: 1 - Never went hunting before, so never done it. Cooking: 4 - Work as a baker, and cook for my household, so I have a good idea on what to do. Fire Starting: 3 - I have went camping plenty of times before, learnt how to start campfires. Ice Fishing: 2 - Been fishing, but not ice fishing. Might have some idea on what to do? Mending: 2 - I have learnt to patch up clothing in a pinch. Rifle/Revolver skill: 0 - Never held a gun in real life. Gunsmithing: -5 - Would likely blow myself up.
  2. Alright, this is something that has been on my mind for a bit now... Something I need to admit to about this challenge. That is... I don't enjoy posting about. I DO however enjoy playing the challenge on my own, but posting about it on this thread has become a chore that I don't want to do anymore. The last run of the challenge ended with me "forgetting" to fuel the fire, that wasn't really the case, and I lied. What really happened was I just let the fire die so I can be done with the run and not have to post anymore. I wanted it to end because it became a chore that I grew tired of. You may have noticed that during my second run, my first few posts were fairly lengthy, but after a while I started to just make posts that were a sentence long with a picture to go with it. I gotten lazy real quick, and just wanted to shoot out quick posts so I can get back to playing the game and having fun. The best way I can explain it, is it would be like watching a show that you love, but during the half way point of every episode you had to pause, and write an summary of what happened. Then continue the episode until it ends, and write another summary of what happened during the second half of that episode. Basically, it's just an annoying pause that I don't want to do, I just wanna keep playing. So yeah, don't expect me to post anymore runs here. If anyone wants to take a shot at the challenge and post about it here, feel free! I'm going to be taking a bit of a hiatus from the forums, since I'm a bit burnt out from TLD. See you all next update! (maybe)
  3. Episode 4 is by far the hardest episode in Wintermute. So a restart to get back into the swing of it is not a bad idea. But it's up to you really.
  4. "That guy that drinks his pee doesn't seem so crazy right now" Meanwhile I'm mountain 'goating' down the summit of Timberwolf.
  5. It's a shame that the chances of another 4DON happening are pretty slim, not just for this year, but ever again. Same with Winter's Embrace. At least Darkwalker is a permanent thing, so if you want some Halloween in TLD, there's that.

    This Floor

Can I please fix it? I wanna craft without falling to the floor below and breaking my ankles.
  7. Day 28 Soooooooo, this is pretty embarrassing, but I let the flame die.... I woke up, and was going to gather up some coal from the mine, but I forgot to feed the fire before I left, and when I got back, well I can guess what I came back to... The flame has died. Attempt 2 Over - Lasted 28 Days, 1 Hour
  8. The Fire has been moved to the community center in Thomson's Crossing. Going to keep in here for a while. Being in the center of Thomson's Crossing means I have access to plenty of food for The Flame. Plus I'm pretty close to Cinder Hills Coal Mine, which has respawning coal. Also, it's nice to have be able to use a wood stove. 6 cooking spots is nice.
  9. Day 27 Time to hit the trail yet again! We're moving! Made a moose satchel Hunted another bear Hide is curing in the garage. Will come back for it later See you when I get to Pleasant Valley.
  10. Day 25 Yeah, been a little while. Things have become rather stale lately. The challenge is a little too easy here in Coastal Highway, so I'm going to be moving to the next region to hopefully get the fun rolling again soon. Anyways, here's what I've been up to. Flame is still alive Moose meat is all cooked Cooking Skill is level 5 now Carcass Harvesting is Level 3 Wolf Skin coat has been crafted Rabbit Hat has been crafted And, that's it. Once that moose hide gets cured, and I make a satchel, I'm going to move to Pleasant Valley against my better judgement.
  11. Barb's Rifle did a good job. Now to spend the next 3 days cooking the meat.
  12. Day 15 Have a large visitor in town today. Going to grab Barbs Rifle to deal with this one. I need all the firepower I can get to take him down.
  13. Day 14 After fighting off a cold IRL, I hop back into my save and continue keeping this flame alive as best I can. I made a quick trip over to Pleasant Valley to grab the hatchet that is stuck into the training target outside of the red barn. From what I know, this hatchet is guaranteed to spawn here. And since the makeshift hatchet just isn't really cutting it anymore (Yes, pun intended), I needed an upgrade.
