I lost a vice to this bug. (On PS4. Yes, I have already reported it)

It’s now happened a 3rd time this session. The only thing I can figure is it will happen more frequently the longer you survive. I have a feeling it’s tied to the amount of data that’s loaded in the area being transitioned into. For instance, all three crashes this session were while transitioning from the inside of the Forsaken Airfield hangar to outside where the car is. I have roughly 10 items on the ground immediately outside the door. I also have several items (~20) on the ground inside the hangar next to the large tool box.

I’ve filed several reports on this over the last year or so. However, what’s the point of filing a report over something that is a known issue?

100% this. I play on ps4. In the last hour of my play session I’ve crashed twice. It being a “known issue” makes matters worse because it’s been one for literal years. It seems to happen more often the more in game days survived. I’m nearing 500 days for the first time, a feat I should be excited about, but it’s hard to be excited when this “known issue” happens so frequently. Saving the game more frequently by sleeping or passing time seems like a decent workaround, but it’s really not. Workarounds are meant to be temporary solutions, but considering how long this issue has been known it’s beginning to feel like a permanent one. I still love this game and recommend it to everyone, and I’m still excited for the future of this title. I’m just frustrated by how long this has gone on. Please don’t let this “known issue” go on for another year.

This, and don’t underestimate how op crouching is. It takes longer to get places but you’re basically undetectable.

Today I finally accomplished something big and I wanted to share it with you all. All my skills are leveled up to max! And I’ve survived for 335 days, far longer than my PB. Maxing mending out was the worst! lol

Something to add to the snow shelter, (this is a last resort option) if you’re just shy of being able to warm up but you have torches or flares on you, pop one and sleep for an hour. You can keep doing this until you run out of a heat source. It’s still risky but it can be just enough to stave off hypothermia in a life or death situation. This is not exclusive to snow shelters but thought I’d mention it nonetheless.

I went there earlier today, walked around a couple hours and when I came back it was there.

Um… what the heck is this? It’s at the Camp Office in ML. I’ve been to this location several times this play through and this is the first I’m seeing it.
