Waltz
Hi, this is what this forum section is for right? Anyways, I made a couple of mods, here are some related pictures with words under them: Pastime Reading - the mod that lets you read your favorite books. Load them as txt and read away. Includes fun customizations, nice sounds and cool animations. A random critic quote: "what's the point?" You can get it here. There's also a video showing how cool animations are.
Foods by 'Calorie Waltz' - adds a bunch of vanilla-style (i think) food items, of which atleast 90% are very tasty. Spawn points are not complete yet, but I'm working on it. A random critic quote: "Chunky chicken noodle is the only thing missing" It lives here.
Northfolk Clothing pack - a pack with some animal hide clothes. Yes, you can't see anything on the screenshot, but I promise they are fancy. Did I mention you can craft them? A random critic quote: "Lovely. Will never looked that hot in both meanings of this word" Here. Thank you for your attention. odizzido
That book mod is super good. I love the animations. I think if I wanted to read a book I might just do it in the game while I am cooking and doing other things instead of just passing time. piddy3825
First off, outstanding work! I've been enjoying the foods pack and the Northfolk clothing pack. I gotta say that the appearance of the food pack items are phenomenal! The look is very lore worthy and fits in the game without appearing like an obvious mod, you've even gone so far as to add a nutritional descriptions which make the items even more immersive. As to the clothing pack, I just wish I could see myself third person, as the items are not only functional but hella stylish as well. I think my character is on the cover of next months Mountain Man Magazine! What's next? anthing in particular you are working on? Need or want any suggestions?

It's a pretty ambitious project, so I'm slowly making it bit by bit. I won't disclose anything because I still might hit a wall and abandon it, let's just say it would fullfill one of your wishes. Not that it's a secret, I talked about it on discord at some point, just don't want too much attention yet There probably will be a little new years special update for my food pack though 1
Fuarian
I've been using your food mod for some time. And I really enjoy a lot of the items. Although I do find some of them give way too many calories than needed.

Kaisentlaia
The Pastime Reading is my favorite mod so far, absolutely brilliant and well done. The animations are impressive and I'm finally finishing a novel I never had time to read. So long pass time until ready. Thank you and keep up the great work!

ajb1978
Mods are hot sauce for games. It doesn't matter how good food is, nor how skilled the chef is, nor anything at all. They can crank out a perfect product every time, but some people just need their hot sauce, and that's all there is to it. Not a dig against the chef, it's just personal taste. I do love me some hot sauce. 1
Lumi
I'm not into modding TLD (yet) but my reaction to seeing the personality mod was rapturous lol. Seeing the attention to detail with the dangling mitten, I never would have thought of that (I've never actually seen snow :P)! SERIOUSLY ought to be in the base game. Can I ask what clothing items are covered by it so far? And if anyone has any mod install videos that apply to Personality too, send 'em my way... please 😄

I don't have an instalation video, but Personality is installed same as any other mod: you just place the files in Mods folder. For that folder to appear you first need to install MelonLoader, which is a mod loader for Unity games. Personality also has ModSettings as a dependency, so you need to install that too (it's also a mod which just goes into Mods folder). All the things are googleable, but if you have any trouble come join the modding discord and people will be happy to help: https://discord.gg/hQPV9wxs8 (also Personality's github page has the same instructions I just gave you, but with links) Edited July 1, 2023 by Waltz
JMK
@Waltz Personality ... I didn't think this was moddable, I thought one would have to remake the whole animation with new models ... is that what you did ?

Val123
Ayyy Waltz! Love your mods to death, man, the foodpack is especially goat of you ❤️ I do have a question - once the modding community figures out the new cooking system, do you plan on making new recipes? Your textures go so well with the vanilla ones and are just so satisfying to look at + I'm sure you'd come up with some killer shit lol

I had an idea long time ago about making a gourmet food pack, but I don't think that would really fit the game tbh. Besides, there's plenty of food already, if you count DLC and all the mods. I still might revisit the idea, I like food Have some other unrelated "killer shit" in the workings though. Going pretty well, so might release soon-ish(like a month, idk, don't quote) 1
