Stove Antenna?

Something I noticed recently.  I can understand the stovepipe for exhaust, but another "pipe" seems to run up through the roof and onto where antenna is placed.  Best guesses?

Obviously you must place a battery on the stove element.

Then, light a fire using only cedar wood. Cedar? I hardly know her!

It will be done proper this time unlike last time when the explosion occurred and the entire Lookout was toppled over and brought the ground.

I am certain that the long dangly bit must go into the hot tea!

No, no, no... it's a jerry can on the negative terminal and a lantern on the positive... and move the battery a little to make room on the burner itself  Place raw venison on the burner and an birch bark tea beside it before you go out.  When an aurora appears when you're out hunting, shine your flashlight towards the antenna, which will activate the starter and ignite a fire.   After a bit, you'll receive some freshly cooked venison and a hot birch bark tea by airmail.  Warning, the contents of the teacup may shift during transport.

@hozz1235, @Ice Hole, I did some messing around on another survival run and it won't let any other non-food items snap to a stove, strange. Why the battery then?

If you put a cattail fluff on the stove temporarily it turns red and looks like a hotdog though haha.

Battery would not be happy if I told you outright. Battery is not pleasant, rather sulfurous, when unhappy with greater chance of explosion.

@hozz1235 i imagine its some sort of wetback system that circulates either heated water or heated oil to keep the antenna from accumulating ice and buckling / breaking under the weight of the ice.

Inspecting these antennae closer I am suspecting this is for gathering electrical energy.
