  1. If any thing you be able to loot them again.
  2. Unless we only want to do hard regions.
  3. You can finish your current runs but I am going to get started on mountain town. My new score is 48 hours. I was camping at the abounding camp near the low bind. Everything was going great I had enough hide and guts for pants and a few snares food for a few days and plenty of energy to get back to the Spence homestead in the morning when the worst thing happened, the Aurora sent some wolves into my camp.
  4. Not saying that that we will do it yet but, my random number generate says the next region shall be mountain town any objections. If not then I am going to start some time later in the day on Saturday. Same code. Right now the score to bet on Forlorn muskeg is 44 hours from @Jimmy.
  5. Maybe or this was a small hiccup in the games code. It might have been a blue parka where the bed roll usually is I was at one percent when stepped into the poachers camp, but I am pretty sure that it was the bed roll.
  6. I've never seen the hammer but like I said there was a bed roll that first time, wasn't there the second.
  7. I tried to get to the over look but kept getting cut of by wolves. Since I didn't get the matches on the work bench I didn't want to start a fire just to get there. I am currently at The lower bind. I've used a flair to start a fire at the homestead, now I have some matches though from the abandoned camp.
  8. Are it looks like you are using the same code but I have tried twice once I died at 38 hour and the other I am still going at 40 hours and have only seen one rabbit. The first time I found a bed roll in the poachers camp. I didn't find the hammer either time.
  9. Explorable caves are fine as long as there not transient zones.
  10. Harder then interloper. No other regions or transit zones.
  11. Surviving more then a few days hinges on the heavy hammer for most players.
  12. I am to paranoid to ever sleep more then four. In the long dark and real life.
  13. You should check out the one region challenge.
  14. It is all the settings at the hardest except regeneration is at low not off. In other words interloper is way easier. @Cr41g
  15. the aroura goes as long as the weather is clear and the sun doesn't show up on the time scale in the Corner. Any fog or blizzard will stop the aroura and it doesn't start again.
  16. I spawned in the middle of the night over by the lower hunting bind. After finding nothing except a peace of fir wood and getting chased of by a bear I tried to make it to the poachers camp hoping to find a bed roll and resting there for the night. But a thick fog was setting in, getting cut of by a pack of wolves I ended up gong the long way to the spence homestead. Hypothermia was at roughly 70% with three cases of frost bite half way done when I finally found the matches in the darkness and broke down a stick for tinder. I survived just fine for the day but after breaking down all the crates and harvest the near by cattails and mushrooms I found that only had enough food for in my stomach for about thirty minutes. It was about the middle of the night and since I only had roughly 40% condition left, blizzard had just ended and There was no food any where around except a frozen dear corpse which I didn't have enough fire wood to thaw (I should probably mention I didn't have a heavy hammer so I couldn't forge any tools.). I rested another hour and set of for the poacher camp as I was almost there I saw some wolves in the way so I took a detour to the high bind were I found so cattails to eat and wood to build a fire. I sat there boiling water for the night then in the morning tried to get some more fire wood though I managed to avoid freezing my cattail harvesting to avoid starving made it where I was still at about half heat when suddenly the tempter dropped as the sun was rising. I tried to harvest some bushes because they were the only fuel source around and my health got dropped to 15% I went back to the fire to warm up when the worst thing happened I became exhausted. I sat at the fire for an hour trying to warm up when I dropped to ten percent! Not having a bed roll and no wood back at the spence homestead I made a desperate attempt to get to the poachers camp. I ended up dyeing just out side having survived 38 hours. Let me know how you did In this topic. If you have no idea what I am talking about go to survival and click the topic of the same title.
  17. I hate cougars I deal with them enough in real life. I don't mind them being missing from the long dark.
  18. I challenge you! In celebration of episode three I challenge each of you to competition to see who is the so is the true master of each region. To start I think we should go in swinging with forlorn muskeg, I've tuned the difficulty to make this the ultimate challenge! This game mode will not only punish you for your mistakes but for what you do right as well (the code is 8snM-/z8P-Dw9v-zaK+-OAEA). Alright so the rules are simple use this code and don't leave the region and of course things that are generally considered cheating. We do have to use the honor system and there really isn't a way to know if your just pulling numbers out of a hat but pleas don't. Right now the score to beat is 38 hours, not the highest but not to low I think it is a great place to start. I will make a sister thread in survival stories.
  19. No that isn't what I said. @Tohono O'odham Mandoes it ping you again when someone quotes a ping.
  20. I feel like I just said that in a much shorter way. @Tohono O'odham Man I don't think hinterland is being lazy. I think that they are to focused on episode three to worry about find and making available obscure back doors into older versions of the game.
  21. It is true your probably not on the look out for making non fine tuning episode three changes.
