Cool new survival game

Seems like the devs of this game took some queues from TLD.

Looks pretty fun! Thanks to @Zaknafeinfor doing a video on this, otherwise I would not have seen it. When I Googled it, all I found was advertisements for brands of marijuana.

That's what you got when you typed Northern lights???😁.     Perhaps it's just the UK that call aurora's that then?🙂

Sounds an appropriate name  though either way.

It is called Nordlys in Norwegian - ie Northern Lights in English. Aurora is of Latin origin one would think, or perhaps Greek? I would imagine Northern Lights is from Old English, and probably originally from the proto Germanic language that all Germanic languages springs from.

Must admit I'm curious on that game, but TLD has set a mighty high bar.

Or the crashed ship in Subnautica

🤔
That reminds me, I do eventually need to go repair my seamoth... and P.R.A.W.N. suit (went to go spar with the reaper out on the dunes last time - nearly crushed to death).

I wish I could play Subnautica. I was excited because I could physically manage the controls (damaged left arm) but the game was so well done it genuinely terrified me! But then again I do have an old deep seated fear of the sea and dark forbidding waters with terrors unseen...

There will never be a big enough boat.
