Great video!! Thanks for the tips. I did know some of them but ı have no idea about number 4 and 6!! About number 10, ı use bedrolls when ı stuck under the cliffs or goat down so bedrolls can be really a lifesaver. And ı love this game wisely hints that tips.  Thanks again for showing.

Excellent video, I play since 2014 and some stuff was new to me or at least I haven't thought of it, like going dry through the waterfall which I'm definitely going to use soon when I re-visit HRV. And how to pass time during CF can also be really handy ;)

But I don't understand the jerry can tip, you get oil in a "small bottle of lamp oil" if you cook fish anyway, why the need to preserve the jerry can? Also about the campfire aiming, while it is a cool find, why not just aim with the iron sight (RMB on pc)? I never missed anything this way, even from far away.

Thank you!

About your questions:

1) Oil in jerry cans weigh less than oil in bottles. Plus it looks nicer!

2) Yes, these tips are not meant as replacements - they are just what you CAN do, not a BETTER way. You can, of course, aim down the sight. The only caveat is that if a wolf is aggroed on you and you aim down the sight, then you will trigger a charge from the wolf. The campfire trick avoids this. But to be honest it's just a gimmick :)

I don't actually understand what is going on here. An empty Jerry Can (I had one on the floor in Jack Rabbits, don't ask me how I did this :D) weighs 0.11kg and the oil in the plastic bottle was 1:1, 0.5l = 0.5kg:

I then dropped the plastic bottle and began cooking fish. When I added 0.06l of oil from a salmon, the Jerry Can's weight was 0.17kg, so it scaled. But the more oil I added, the less the Jerry Can weighted and when I had 0.51l of oil harvested, the weight was 1:1:

So apparently the oil is eating away the metal of the Can or is there another explaination?

The lamp bottle is the same way. I had one that was empty (still had 0.01 left I think) that still had weight (can't remember the exact weight though. Something around 0.1 kg).

Yes I noticed that too, I had an empty bottle on the floor (showing 0.00 l) but it had a weight of 0.11kg so it behaves the same as the Jerry Can.

I think I understand now the original claim of the video, there is a weight advantage with the Jerry Can if you have lots of little filled small bottles totalling to say 1l as opposed to one Jerry Can of 1l, as the weight seems to even out at 0.5l, meaning the bottle has then no weight but it has when it's less filled. Strange behaviour but it is what it is right now.
