DigitalDeath849
I've only tested this with a campfire but it's a nice little addition. It does take alot longer to heat without using one of the stone slots.
Spakerman
wow, that's good to know. my supply of canned food has been short lately but always good to know more options.
stratvox
No, it's strictly for food types that are more "reheated" than "cooked", such as canned goods or already brewed tea or coffee.
Sito
This was really good to know! Thanks for the tip. Really comes in handy when multitasking boiling water and warming a tin of tomato soup.
Silverhour
It also works on the mantel of fireplaces. I was surprised at first because I was just trying to store my canned goods on it, but every time I went to place one it started the 'open' sequence. I didn't know about the campfire though, that is good to know!

huntergathers
Yeah, you can use the same method to warm drinks while you do other things so you have a warm drink to head off on when you're finished with your fire.
Silverhour
Also, it looks like nothing will burn when reheating! When I did it the progression stopped at 'Hot' and didn't indicate time until ruined.
