I had a dream last night that Hinterland added a giant cave in broken railroad underneath the hunting lodge where the bear cave is. It was similar to the old bears den from episode 2 but larger and more maze like. There was also a bear in this cave but it was completely blind but If you made any noise whatsoever sprinting using a flare turning on and off a lantern even just walking near it without crouching it would immediately know where you are. I don’t know if it would fit into the game or how hard this would be to do but that dream made me really want this in the game.

I know it wouldn’t make much sense with the whole coal mine theme but I really want a quiver that reduces arrow weight

I was at Timberwolf mountain and I had just killed a moose and while I was harvesting it I took a sip of water when the harvesting was almost done and when it finished a bear had snuck up behind me and roared and charged at me I was still drinking water and I was quickly trying to put my cup down and not spill water everywhere but it was too late I got mauled

I’m guessing that you can also get it from the puddles of toxic waste if you walk in it for too long or inhaling toxic gas if their is any.maybe they’ll add a new medicine to get rid of the affliction?

This is just a random thought I had but what if I’m the new region because of all the waste the animal meat is unsafe to eat even after being cooked?Im imagining myself on the verge of death because of starvation with a wolf I just killed cooking it’s meat and dying anyway because I ate wolf meat infused with toxic waste.I think that it could be interesting

I’m excited for it but I wanna hear everyone else’s opinions

It’s always the blizzards that get me I have no sense of where I am even if there isn’t one 😅

I’ll go first I was on a custom run that was basically interloper with guns cause my main goal was to get every single variant and bring them all to the hunting lodge in broken railroad which I made my main base. It was day 76 I had every thing I could ever need at the hunting lodge I had well over 300 pounds of meat plenty of cooking supplies about 60 rifle rounds over 100 revolver rounds 30 something arrows all the fire wood I could need and every single variant but one bow I genuinely think this had been by best run up until I died I looted half of great bear and brought it back to the lodge but when I went to forsaken airfield to get the last variant that’s when the run ended I was at the island cottage (the cabin that’s to the right of you look at it from the hanger) and i thought I’m going to to the other cabin and see if the bow is there (I didn’t know where in FA the bow was I just knew it was somewhere there) but I went the wrong way and just started walking into the woods I didn’t think to bring fire wood in case there was a blizzard cause I thought the cabin was right next door (even if I did go the right way it’s still pretty far) then as I foreshadowed a blizzard started and I thought that’s ok I’ll get to the cabin before I freeze so I just kept walking deeper into the woods slowly freezing to death i tried to turn back at some point but it was too late I had faded into the long dark.

I know this would be better as a poll but I’m not smart enough to figure out how to start one. generally there’s 4 ways I’ve seen people hunt bears if you don’t do any of these do tell how you go about hunting them 1.shoot it once then hide in a car and wait for it to bleed out 2.climb on a really tall rock/fallen tree and shoot it a bunch 3.run circles around it like a absolute madman and shoot when you can 4.get surprised by it shoot it once then get mauled and find its body an hour later (me)

The wind always blowing the smoke in your eyes whenever your near a fire

I like the stats of the wardens revolver since I usually get surprised by wolves but I’m a sucker for guns with engravings so I gotta agree with hunters revolver

Now that the wiki says what the new ones do what’s everyone’s favorite rifle bow or revolver? (mines 100% curators rifle just cause it looks so god damn cool)

Darn I was hoping it would be repairable with scrap metal at the milling machine since it’s a fancy manufactured bow

The Hunter revolver is in the Hunter bunker so it’s random where it spawns but if you go into a bunker and see deer heads on the wall then it’s in there

The foresters revolver is is bleak inlet I mixed up the names in my head 🤦‍♂️so sorry!
